Release Your Fears, Change Your Life!

A guide into your subconscious mind and how to stop fear from holding you back.

For my first blog post I have decided to talk about releasing fear. I feel that fear is a very misunderstood emotion that traps most people in a mindset that holds them back from understanding their true potential, along with their true selves. Fear blinds the minds eye from seeing beyond the boundaries of potential, it's like a filter that sits inside the brain that will rebound any kind of new belief that doesn’t match up vibrationally to what the fear is interpreting. The problem is, fear rises in the individual, despite any form of danger being present.

If you want to work on releasing your fears, you must first understand the natural purpose of its use inside the brain. To begin with, I want to make it clear that fear is not a bad thing. For example, let's say you went back in time a thousand years, you were a part of a tribe living in a little village out in a completely natural environment without solid concrete walls to protect you from danger.

If a lion or a tiger was to storm into your village and starts chasing you, fear is going to kick in and you would enter what you call fight or flight mode. The signal from your brain would tell your body to shut down all other functions in order to pump all your energy and blood into the muscles in order to give you maximum strength and speed for survival. In a situation where your survival is at risk, fear is very necessary, it can save your life.

But when you are feeling fear of starting a business, joining a dance class, talking on stage etc. all the fear is doing is preventing you from seeing the truth of the situation. Like right now, I could be feeling fear writing this blog post. My mind could be racing, wondering if people are going to like what I have written, if I am wording it correctly, how many people are going to view it, whether I am qualified to be writing about fear. All sorts of questions could be going on in my head and stopping my ability to write the best post possible.

With my understanding of fear, I see that I am under no danger in this situation, only my mind can create the illusion of danger. So, without this illusion, my mind is free and open for all inspiration to flow through me and allow me to write exactly what I need to write at this moment in time. If nobody enjoys the post, my life goes on and I enjoy my day just like I normally would. I can be judged, I can be told my perception is false, but regardless of all other opinions, I can only be myself and set my intentions on helping at least one person that reads this post.

So the main point I want to make with this post is that the fears you are currently facing are 99 percent down to the fact you are carrying negative beliefs about reality in your subconscious mind, which also includes the fear of judgment from all those around you. I can guarantee, if you was to calm your mind enough in order to be able to view your beliefs from a state of awareness, rather than emotional attachment, you would see that the fear you are feeling has been implanted in you ever since you were a child. The fears of others have rubbed off on you and now constricted you into a limited perception of your true self.

How to process and release your fears...

In order to change your fearful belief in to a more powerful and limitless belief, you need to understand that it is a subconscious program that can not be battled in a conscious analytical state. Seeing as your subconscious operates 95 percent of your thoughts and beliefs, by trying to battle your fear with your analytical mind, you are in a losing battle. As Neville Goddard quotes “trying to fight thoughts with thoughts is like trying to bite your own teeth.” If you don’t already, meditation is your answer to all your problems.

During meditation, you increase your vibrational connection to your higher self and therefore, along with falling into a much lower brain wave state, which allows you to view your beliefs and emotions from a more peaceful, neutral perspective. You must allow your fearful belief to surface and show itself for what it truly is. Picture your belief as nothing but a form of energy in the shape of a sphere, rather than something physical. Place that image in your mind and just sit with it, allow it to be.

Try to bring up any other energetic attachments to this fear and find where it originated from. Was it from something your parents constantly told you or experienced as a child? Was it a moment of embarrassment you experienced in your younger years? Was it from any films or documentaries you had a strong emotional reaction to? This can be the hardest part of the process because your subconscious mind is infinite. It has absorbed every life experienced you lived and had emotional reactions to and carefully embedded itself to remind you of a survival situation whenever it appears.

Your subconscious mind doesn’t work like your conscious mind, it doesn’t know the difference between a dangerous situation and a safe situation. It simply takes a snapshot of an emotional reaction to an outside circumstance and anything you experience in the future that holds a similar energy, will automatically bring up the same emotion. So, say if you done something as a child which caused your friends to laugh at you and you had a strong emotional reaction of embarrassment.

If you are now considering taking up a new venture that is a little bit different to what most people consider normal, your subconscious will remind you of the feeling of embarrassment to stop you doing something that could be a threat to your survival. Instead of seeing negative emotions for what they truly are, your subconscious stores all negative emotions as a threat to your life. A thousand years ago, only fear would have existed, by now that we have hundreds of diverse circumstances, fear has divided itself into embarrassment, anxiety, guilt, disappointment etc.

You would find, if you searched into any emotion deep enough, fear would be sitting in the background. Anyway, back to releasing your fear. When you are clear on its origin, the most powerful way to overcome it, is to genuinely forgive whatever and whoever planted it into your mind. I don’t mean physically saying to them that you forgive them, I mean, finding it within yourself to realise that their actions where not a reflection of you in any kind of way. Separate yourself from the situation and see that it could have been anyone in your shoes. Also know that whatever they were projecting on to you was simply their own fears or a separation of their true self.

When you can feel this at an emotional level, and even still, realise that it is just a memory of the past, not a fact of the present moment. Releasing your fear feels completely natural to you. Your subconscious will let go of its grips to that emotion, as you will let your subconscious know that it was never a survival situation in the first place. I can guarantee that committing to this process on a day to day basis will result in drastic life changes because you are no longer gripped to survival mode, you will be in strive mode full aware of the possibilities now that mental obstacles are no longer a problem in your journey.
