I would like to bring your attention to the juxtaposition of the title.

For those of you nonplussed by it, everything shall be revealed as you read on.

The date is April 13.

The year is 2020.

It has been 2 weeks since the world has seemingly shut down. By shut down, I mean that humans are being held in their own homes to curb the spread of a pandemic called covid-19, known more popularly by its street name - Corona Virus.

This virus, while not always fatal, is deadlier than any other that has hit humans since HIV aids merely because of how quickly it has halted and obliterated the world’s economy as we know it. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums, theatres, cinemas, amusement parks, theme parks, hotels, malls, shopping outlets – essentially any and all public areas have been cordoned off by humans for humans.

While the economy, which mind you was recovering from a either a slow-down or a recession in various parts of the world, has taken a massive hit, there are other factors that are ostensibly troubling as a race.

People. Seem. Lost.

I use the word ‘seem’ because they aren’t true truly lost but they believe themselves to be.

Human, for the very first time in a long time, is forced to spend time with their self; really get to know their true person. The system constructed so intricately by the governments of the world, riddled with policies, rules and laws for humans to abide by, is crumbling.

There aren’t many distractions to get people’s minds off their preordained lives and complacent mindset; ingrained in them through eons of social conditioning that has turned them blind to their true purpose for being born.

Fear of the unknown is a defining factor in human nature and it is to avoid facing the abyss of their consciousness that they have been very ‘content’, until now, to operate within a predesigned framework without having to take the true test of life by attempting to discover their real self. But everything is different now.

We are here for a reason and you better believe that there is nowhere to hide from the brilliance of destiny.

We have become slaves to so many social constructs that some of them just seems natural now. The lines are so blurred that they have transformed into eddying tides of pretending to be ‘normal’. A concept as fundamental as time is revealing itself to be a pandemic construct.

'Time' is the most relative facet in this cosmic design. Do not let your time be defined by your clocks. It is so hard to not be bound by time in a world that uses it as the ultimate unit of measurement in every aspect of our daily lives. The clock decides when we wake up, eat, work, play, socialize, sleep and repeat the same monotony.

We are so used to the monotony created by the human time that we seem to love it. There are even times to educate, learn, teach, fall in love, get married, start a family, retire... it is maddening and yet, we seem to love it. We fashion our entire lives based on time and how adeptly we can walk the clock because we thrive on society’s approval and conditioned society knows no different.

But for the first TIME, we are forced to face the truth of the inconsequence and insignificance of socially constructed time.

We are realizing that we don’t need to look at that clock as much.

We are realizing that we can feel.

We are realizing that we have been wasting every moment living vicariously and recreating other people’s ideas of life.

We are realizing the power of the individual self.

This might be the best thing that has ever happened to humans as a species.

As expected, people’s imaginations are running helter-skelter with the thought of being alone and they are terrified of the prospect of spending time with their thoughts alone.

People are afraid of themselves and with good reason. It is the first time they are being compelled to really get to know their self. So ‘know thyself’ as you have never known yourself before. Peek within and find all the answers that you have been searching for.

For eons, monks and sages have been known to cut all ties with the materialistic world to venture into the peace and quiet of the mountains, in the hopes that they may one day rediscover the light within. The light that shines illuminates our being when we are born but that light gradually becomes obscure as moments of our life dissipate before our eyes as we sit idly by allowing others and most importantly OURSELVES to crush and obliterate it – never to be felt again.

That is the only thing we should fear – losing sight of our light.

There are innumerable reasons why this virus is really a cure for the human race and the planet.

This virus is going to be the deciding factor in the fate of humans on the planet.

It is going to determine whether we choose to rise anew and discover the magic we’re meant for or fall back on our old ways and be obliterated as a species.

You see, the Earth knows how to take care of itself.

It is humans that need to make a choice.

We need to achieve unity of mind and universal consciousness and to do that we must achieve single-mindedness and become conscious of our Self.

If this time has taught us anything it is the unpredictable nature of life.

If we must learn anything from that, it should be to live, really live every moment to its fullest by being true to ourselves.

Money, marriage, organized education systems and other social constructs might continue to weigh in on our energies and life choices but if we stay true to ourselves, neither external nor internal forces can dampen our shine.

Unsettle your mind!

Shake off the layers of bullshit.

Observe yourself.

Be your own guru.

To find all the answers all you really need is You.
