Prayer full waiting room
Waiting on God???......Sooner Than Expected

God's waiting room
It's in these moments that God tests our commitment and strengthens our faith. During this waiting period, we are being prepared for the next stage of our journey. As we wait on the Lord, we grow in trust, learning to rely on Him more deeply..It is a state in one's life where they are faced with adversity, and they need to wait for a response from God. God desires that people are content with what they have during the waiting period as He prepares the best response to their requests. The waiting room is characterized by heavy reliance on faith, patience and trust that the requests will be answered in time. In other instances, the waiting room could be longer for others while shorter for others. However, it is important to exercise patience while letting faith work in the best way and time.
Where does God speak to us about waiting
The Bible describes the waiting room as God desired people to understand. Isaiah 40:31: "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." This verse explains that people who patiently wait for God will be rewarded. See what Psalm 27:14 delivers: "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!". These verses emphasize on the importance of patience and trusting fulfilment of promises by God.
Jesus often taught about waiting, patience, and trust in God’s timing throughout the Gospels. Here are several passages where Jesus addresses these themes:
Acts 1:4-5 –"And while staying with them, He ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, He said, 'you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.'" Jesus instructs His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit after His resurrection.
Luke 12:35-36 –"Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks." Here, Jesus teaches the importance of being patient and ready for His return.
Matthew 24:42 –"Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming." Jesus speaks about the need to wait expectantly for His second coming, even though the timing is unknown.
Mark 13:33-37 –"Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake." Jesus emphasizes vigilance while waiting for His return, teaching the importance of readiness and patience.
Matthew 25:1-13 (Parable of the Ten Virgins) –In this parable, Jesus teaches about waiting and being prepared. The wise virgins who waited with enough oil were ready when the bridegroom (a symbol for Christ) arrived, while the foolish virgins were unprepared because they were not patient in their waiting.
John 14:1-3 –"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." Jesus comforts His disciples, asking them to trust in His promise to return, encouraging patience and faith during the waiting period. In these teachings, Jesus emphasizes waiting as an act of faith, preparation, and vigilance while trusting in God's timing for His return and fulfillment of promises.
