Meet Saint Lex!

What's your name and where are you from?

I go by Saint Lex! The Lex comes from my government first name, and the Saint to me just means to always be honest and bring forth the truth! I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX but I currently reside in the rocky mountain state Colorado!

Why do you love what you do?

I'm sure everyone says to express themselves, and while that is true for me as well I'd like to do a bit more than that. Music is power. Music is freedom. Something that you couldn't necessarily say in a one on one conversation or group setting, you can say freely in a song! Not only do I love telling my story, but I enjoy telling the stories and opinions of others. You might have a family member that had a friend get shot and killed and they don't really know to get over that feeling or even express it, but I can be the one to do that, and connect with thousands in the process. Music is also healing for the soul. Mix all of these things with passion and you create a masterpiece!

What makes you different?

I've always been the one to see through the eyes of others. In a society where everyone is just focused on themselves, we tend to miss a lot. Not only is the magic within but the way we activate the magic within is by pulling inspiration from the things around us. Sometimes the things around us are not always so bright, and we have to go in a dark space and be a light. That's what I've always been best at, which is being a centerpiece. When my family feels like they're falling apart I'm a centerpiece. When I played on different basketball teams I was a centerpiece for my teammates. Almost like a coach in a way. Now I just apply that to music! In a industry where a great deal of our music is teaching us to be separate, I'm going to be the centerpiece and bring a lot of people together. People will see by my actions! My light will be so bright that it's going to force people to look within and become the best version of themselves!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I am at the top of the music industry living my best life. I'll be traveling the world performing at some of the biggest arenas. I'll have worked with, and shared the stage with your favorite artist. Also, I love to give so I'll be an even bigger philanthropist! I'll have my family financially free! I'll be teaching people the importance of having the courage to be themselves and let their light shine.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I want to be one of the best business women to ever live! I am going to build up a entertainment company that starts to builds the artist from early childhood. I'm going to give back like no other. From someone that was once homeless I understand it, and I'll have at least one homeless shelter in every state in the U.S. Also,  I'll have helped a lot of people become financially free, and moved a lot of souls through my music!

What do you bring to your industry?

Familiarity with the words I speak, because it's something a lot of us know, and can relate to. But the way the meal is prepared and served on the plate, its just going to taste different. A good different. Music that speaks to the soul, and not just a beat to make you dance but all that included. Music that's going to alter the way a person thinks and sees the world! Hopefully they'll see someone that's a passionate and true leader!
