Meet musically talented The Glenn Glenn Sound

What’s your artist name and where are you from?

My artist name is The Glenn Glenn Sound. I’m originally from Houston Texas and moved out to Los Angeles, Ca before the summer of 2015.

Why do you love music?

I love music because it’s been all around me my whole life. It is an escape from reality at times. From listening to music to eventually becoming a musician myself. When I was in middle school and freshman year of high school I played the alto saxophone. Writing raps and poetry in middle school, Making beats in high school on FL studio, to eventually learning audio engineering in film school in Hollywood. Really couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

What makes you different as a music artist?

I use wit and parody in my lines while being relatable to the average person. I use entendres and double entendres while showing personally. I draw from current events, pop culture and meme culture in a way I feel other entertainers are not doing. The other music I have in the vault is the most hardest sound you will ever hear and I can’t wait. As far as the beats it’s an eclectic mix of a hip hop and pop sound with several changes. Soundscapes and atmosphere like sounds over drums.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself being an established artist, musician, and songwriter signed to a label. I would also like to be an established actor, maybe as a series regular on a tv show or in a major movie. I would like to gain the respect of others. I see myself putting my family and friends in a position to win. I would be touring all over the world and be able to stop the music as the crowd keep saying all of the lyrics.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I would like to have a record chart on billboard as well as become an platinum selling artist. I would like to also get into scoring for movies in the near future if it’s in the cards. I would like to do well in the industry to the point where I start my own label and agency to help others like me that don’t have recourses. I would like to help others around me win as well as myself. I’m sure a lot of artist say that, it’s like the saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together”. As far as the Grammys and awards, I’m not really too focused on that because at the end of the day, they are just material things. As long as I like what I’m doing I’m successful.

What do you bring to the music world?

I’ll bring a person who will be his most authentic self at all times. there are so many artist with huge catalogs already so I have some catching up to do. someone who is a doer and believer in self. I will bring words that is a self mirror and what I will live by. I will bring smooth melodies of the highest energy and positive vibrations. I will bring drums that are just hard. I will bring the story of a person who stayed quiet for too long. I will bring the story of the people who can’t tell theirs.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to be remember as one of the talented people to walk this earth. Not from a industry standard, not a world standard, and definitely not from social proof. From the people I know personally and come in contact with. You may not like me but you’re going to say to your self, “there is something special about that guy”. I would like to be remembered by the people that matter, and if they don’t remember me, they don’t matter.
