- Oh boy! What a world we live in/ Human life is seen as nothing without a worldly possession/ It’s even worse than going against the grain or doing what is forbidden/ Because to live without certain things like enough money will have you stressing/ Bills you need to be paid, money needs to be made/ Most people earn it only, the money that has been calculated by the powers higher than management/ That counted money that has already been allocated by the establishment/ To have a house, a car and a business is ideal, so you can feel like you made it and be affluent/ No vehicle?/ I’ll say you’ll see it through/ Life is a wrestling match, the experiences are not unbeatable/ Renting vs owning now has a huge margin, no thin line/ Cash offers have ruined the market for mortgage loans to flourish, they want someone who has cash to buy/ Interest rates now are ridiculous, they’re far too high/ Better wear designer clothes/ Because people will realize you’re fly by your wardrobe/ But that’s if you are self-conscious about dressing to impress/ Some don’t care, like myself, I just take pride in what I wear nonetheless/ But I still put on some known name brands because it’s quality & so I can look my best/ How I get around? How do you want me to respond?/ Bus, train, Lyft or Uber/ If you don’t have a car, you’re looked down upon/ It’s a necessity, no doubt, will get one in the near future/ But you can still get around without it/ But if you don’t have it, you fall into a certain category in our society like the downtrodden/ People who are either homeless and poor, or in public housing/ The homeless can’t do anything for themselves/ Their as good as dead because they need to beg people for money to eat, it doesn’t end well/ Without someone giving them some spare change, they can’t fend for themself/ Some get upset when you ignore them when they ask, or say no or say you don’t have/ It’s frustrating being broke and poor, huh?/ No kidding, money is always something you’re begging for, bruh/ You starving, so go through the garbage/ Trying to get food to eat, yeah, this life is the hardest/ No mercy for the weak, you’ll get eaten alive like a harvest/ It’s everyone for themself and God for us all/ If you can’t fend for yourself, you’re at a loss man, you’ll fall/ Who doesn’t want the finer things in life/ Jewelry, clothes, fancy cars, designer things that’s nice/ Yeezys, Jordans, diamond rings that’s bright/ We all want some kind of bling that shines like sunlight/ Nike, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana/ True Religion, Timberlands and dudes love to smoke weed, the ganja/ IPhones, smart watches, who doesn’t believe in reaping they seed and karma?/ if a man can’t provide in this world, homie is a goner/ Money ain’t a thing, Jermaine Dupri said that, it’s not supposed to be a bother/ But it is unfortunately, sorry, it’s a reminder/ Or kind of like the kente cloth that’s solely from Ghana/ Rich vs the poor, it’s a no brainer, choose, it’s like you’ll go and feed the piranhas/ Meaning the rich feed the poor the bread crumbs, it’s all about the notes, the proceeds, the dollars/ Face it, let’s be realistic/ This world’s materialistic/ It’s about earning that counted money for us that work 9 to 5/ We gotta become money makers before our time expires, keep it in mind as you strive/ Work hard, go hard and grind to live a better life/ Facts! Don’t fall off the ladder you climb, maintain the drive/ We live in a material world!
