Love is the Key

This truly is a unique time in which we are living. It is easy to let fear wash over you during this time and see only greed, corruption and hate in the world. But that’s not how I see it. Love is the key to happiness if you can just hold a sense of Oneness and have a higher perspective. Not only see our personal journeys in the micro but see in the macro that we are all One. We are humankind experiencing the same human experiences on our “beautiful blue marble of a home planet”. If this pandemic does any good it will be that it has brought people together like never before. This image from the Planetary Society posted on Earth Day has helped me hold onto hope that we are coming together to save humankind and our planet, letting love be the driving force behind it all. Planetary Society’s mission is “Empowering the world’s citizens to advance space science and exploration”. This leads me to point out that The International Space Station has had 20 years of successful peaceful cooperation among the space agencies. Showing that if we work together, with love, no matter our backgrounds, we can advance.

We all need some goodness right now, to keep us moving forward. This video warms my heart completely. It is a video that makes your eyes water with tears of awe, happiness and true bliss of what people can do when they come together with love.This is Coco. She finished her last chemo treatment. At the hospital this achievement is usually followed by bell ringing and a small celebration. But due to the Coronavirus outbreak she was unable to be a part of it and wouldn't have been able to have a welcome home party with friends and family. So her family's friends & friends had a surprise social distancing welcome home parade for her. Coco said “It really hit me at that moment that everyone was there for me.” This content touched my heart because it holds so much positivity and celebrates life with such joy.

This is by far my favorite animal Instagram account. “Juniper, Fig and Elmwood are three North American red foxes living out their life in a home full of rescued exotics. They were born in captivity and descendants from fur-farm foxes.” It is a “family of misfits” including chinchillas, a possum, reptiles and some fosters come and go. The owner/mom also tries to be very informative about these rescued animals & creatures. These animals have had hard early lives or were born with abnormalities but it is with a heart of true love that the owner/mom adopted them, cares for them and gives them the happiest lives they can have. Lots of times the foxes are playing. Humans too need play, no matter your age. Play is a huge stress releaser. It has been shown to release endorphins, improve brain functionality and helps you to be creative just by having fun and enjoying yourself. The content on this page brightens my day by making me smile, laugh and also reminds me that play and having fun is important for all beings.

It’s digital content like these that help us see a bigger picture. Love is the key for happiness, all you have to do is look around you, love is everywhere. We have to concentrate on the goodness of others and how strong the love inside of us is to make a positive change in our lives as well as on our planet.
