Being Unapologetically Beautiful
Growing up in Tanzania, I felt beautiful. Of course, people rarely tell you how beautiful you are because that isn’t (wasn’t when I was growing up) part of my culture. I grew up surrounded by people who mostly resembled me. Black, cornrowed or braided hair, good meat on the bone, because in my country having meat on your bones was an admirable trait, a sign of wealth and good fortune.

Learn How to Learn, Forget How to Fail
Hi! My name is Seven (yup, just like the number). I support startups in an array of areas—rough sleeping, fashion design, and most important to me: the power of young people! I'm a Generation Z Consultant in the UK, and love to understand how this generation is going to change the world. I also currently support charities in the education and mental health sectors.

QUEST Means BUSINESS is the name of the TV show and maybe his trademark. And really, everything about this international anchor on CNN is serious. Becoming Vocal Again
The name Vocal flashed up on Facebook. It resonated deep within my soul. Following neck surgery a year earlier, I had struggled to talk, to swallow. To do all those simple, mechanical things that our body does so mindlessly, so efficiently that we totally underestimate the complex workings required to make these miracles occur

Self-Care, What's in the Name?
In the times of self-care trending on our social media accounts, taking time to care for oneself has become a thing to do. Memes of champagne-sipping, bubble bath-taking celebrities somehow have become synonymous with self-caring. Of course, I know some delve deeper than the aesthetic of self-caring. So, let’s explore that.

Our Paths Are Not the Same
There comes a stage in a person's life, where they begin to question what they are, who they are, or what they are doing on this earth. This stage is where people begin to find themselves—or try to; you might also look at other peoples' lives and compare them to yours, and wonder why you are where you are. I believe this stage in a person's life is very crucial. Honestly there is not much shaping in someone's life when they are kids as some believe; I think the shaping comes much later, mid-twenties to be a bit more precise.

Having a Heart Attack at 60 Feet in the Air
I'm screaming, "I'M GOING TO FALL!" With a small jerk of a half inch rope and not putting much faith into the carabiner that I'm hooked in, along with the harness that is attached to my body. I feel it. I'm having a heart attack. The surge of endorphins and adrenaline pumping into my veins, my heart feeling like it is literally going to explode and I'm going to die.

When is the Turning Point?
Where do I begin? February of 2018 is where everything started to change. Throughout the years I slowly began to lose who I was. Every birthday that came around, I would question where my life was going. I wasn't happy in the relationship I was in and my future seemed rocky. I knew I had so much more to offer, but my purpose wasn't clear. I began to doubt everything I was doing; was this was a mid life crisis? I'm not sure, but what I did know is I was slowly destroying myself by putting other people before myself. I was sending myself to rock bottom—I knew I was doing it but I didn't know how to fix it. I felt trapped. And just when I needed it, life threw me a few curve balls to help open my eyes.

How to Become the Best Version of Yourself
Some will, some won't, so what? Who's next? To become the best version of yourself, it starts with not allowing things that are out of your control to have any effect on your mood or mental health. The quote "some will, some won't, so what? Who's next?" is usually motivation for people who sell to others for a living.
