This Is When You'll Know
“Don’t be so hard on yourself when you find yourself dwelling on your past and overthinking about all the misfortune you’ve had. Because sometimes people forget that the past is a pathway. And a pathway is a journey. and a journey takes time. and time is all you have when you feel lost. So please be patient, be kind because something better is on the way.” -r.m. Drake

The Truth
For example. Thoughts become actions, become your life. VS. You are not your thoughts. You are your actions. Taking control of your mind is quite different from watching it frolic and play, fall down and hurt itself, get back up, play again, etc... and not interact with it. If I am watching my thoughts come from my mind, and I do not believe or entertain them, who am I? Am I my spirit?

The High Road
How do you get to the high road? How do you get from the low road to walk the high road? Like driving on the highway, you must take the necessary exit to get to where you're going from where you've been, and in that same spirit you must take the necessary exit from the low road in order to get to the high road of life. Even deeper on the matter, you must keep your eye on the prize, just like keeping your eye on the signs of the road so you don't end up missing your opportunity to make your exit. Otherwise you risk staying where you don't want to be longer than you have to. Always stay focused on your dream and your goals, because no one else is going to do it for you, and anyone that claims they'll look out will always let you down or do it at a price. Let me tell you now, that there's no price great enough to buy off your dreams and goals, so allowing control of your power to someone else will never result the way it would if you yourself took control like you should have in the first place.

Thrown into Adulthood
It's the absolute strangest thing when you wake up every morning and you grab your coffee and you get ready for work everyday because you have bills to pay, you have a career in mind, and you desperately need insurance to see a doctor for that weird rash you got the other day. It's a strange time for those of us who just graduated high school because we spent the last 12 or so years in the comfort of our parents' homes and sitting behind a desk at school. Some of us are more prepared than others for these stressful years ahead, but some of us weren't as prepared as we thought we were.

The Power of Choice
When we are faced with a challenge in life and we are asked to make a choice, there is never a good or bad decision. As I believe we are meant to go through certain obstacles to help us appreciate the journey as a whole. There may be times where you look back and feel like you could of handled the situation better, but instead of feeling regret, understand you have now learnt from it & if you're ever up against the same situation again, it's possible to approach it differently. I do not believe in the perfect human being, this is why I feel it's important to be open to learning and growing as a person.

The Queen Had to Die Before She Could Ride
You would really have to be looking for it. You might see it when I wear a camisole or a bathing suit. It turns slightly purplish in color in cold temperatures. It's a small, faded scar on the side of my left breast. It brought me back from death, and freed me from confinement. It's one of the ways I became a Queen.

Anger vs Peace
When asked, most people would agree that they would prefer to feel peace over anger. However, if we were to look at anger in more depth, we would realise that people experience this emotion in very different ways. Anger is usually a reaction to how an individual would respond to a situation or life event, and many people may not realise that they are carrying anger around with them in their day to day lives. When we compare this to peace, peace is the epitome of forgiveness. We can not find peace within ourselves until we can learn to forgive other people for their actions.
