I took the best of them and made them my role model

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, never a second-rate version of someone else. "-- Judy Garland

I believe that having an idol makes it easier for people to accept and copy their good qualities (perseverance, etc.). But to copy someone completely and become a "second rate version" of him or her is downright stupid. For example, I like Winston Churchill. I admire his persistence and his vision of success. But there's something about him that I don't agree with. I took the best of them and made them my role model. At the same time, discard the dross and discard the negative qualities. Readers can take this as an example.

Action is the real measure of wisdom. -- Napoleon Hill

In fact, AndrewCarnegie, the richest man in the world, said it a hundred years ago. I have seen too many people go to colleges and universities. I have heard my teachers say that I must work hard, memorize basic lessons, and become "somebody". And then I can't help but think of Bill Gates who dropped out, Steve Jobs who dropped out. Hundreds of successful people drop out of high school and college. Instead of memorizing the basics as a way to cultivate themselves, they chose to act -- to make their successes and failures their main actions. This was their wisdom, and they made a great fortune from it.

Every morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: it is not events that have happened to me that make me happy or unhappy today, but that make me happy. I can choose my own direction.

Yesterday is gone, the Ming Dynasty is not yet, I only have a good every today, the only today. -- Groucho Marx

Yesterday's tomorrow is today. Tomorrow's yesterday is today. Why dwell on the past (don't get me wrong, you can learn a lot from judging the past). But I find that some people are too forward-thinking. Why not think "now"? Why not carpe diem? If your answer is no, it's time to reconsider.

See the end of the prosperous world, taste life sour, sweet, bitter and spicy. Life is like a river, a torrent of brave into the time, there will be lonely frustrated, however, this is the normal life. When you feel lost and helpless, you might as well read these familiar lyrics, perhaps one of them can make you full of strength and move forward.
