How to Manage your time and create a productivity system to and get more things done
Productivity and Time management tips to be more productive

I don't have time:
I am personally guilty of using this excuse I used to spend the whole day watching tv shows instead of getting things done specially when I wanted to start working out and very often we find ourselves making this excuse to avoid doing things.
Our time is entirely within our control yes! You might have a job or school but if you want to start working out or start reading more or maybe start a small business there's no such thing as I don't have the time you own your time you just need to manage it to do the things that you want to do.
In this article I'm going to break down the system and tips that helped me be more productive.
---
Make a To Do list and a Calendar:
This is probably the most fundamental thing when you want to be more productive it will help you stay ahead of tasks and accomplish more tasks throughout the day and it is the key to time management.
You can use mobile apps to make a To Do list the one I personally use is TO DO by Microsoft you can find plenty of other apps.
For creating and managing your Calendar you can use google Calendar.
If you want to take this a step further you can write your To Do list and calendar on paper but be-careful here you don't want to spend so much time organizing you time than actually working.
Parkinson's law:
What this mean I s that the work expands to fill the time we dedicate to it for example if I want to write an article in a day and I give myself the whole day to do it guess what it will take me lots of hours to do it whereas if I give myself a specific time-line to write that article say 2 hours and fill my day with other task then I will complete writing my article in two hours and finish more other tasks
Create a distraction-free environment:
Research found that we spend 2.1 hours a day distracted (I think it's more than that) and it takes 21 minutes to refocus after being distracted and this will tremendously affect your productivity.
What you should do to avoid this distractions is to create a distraction-free environment this includes putting your phone on silent mode our phones are the biggest distraction from a single notification you might find yourself jumping from post to post and spending hours scrolling through social media and completely ignoring your work.
I found that minimizing social media time made me so much more productive and more focused.
Clean and organize your home and work space:
Home: Start by making your bed in the morning personally making the bed when I wake up gives me a boost of motivation try it maybe it will work for you too.
Office and home office: you'd be surprised how an organized desk can boost your productivity, If you work from home like I do try to separate your work space from the rest of the home make it a spot of focus and concentration.
Learn how to be satisfied:
Being productive doesn't mean you always have to be pushing hard and always complete every single item on your To Do list you have to learn how to be satisfied with the amount of work you accomplished during the day and stop beating yourself every-time you don't accomplish a task or two.
Take breaks during the day:
Taking small breaks (5minutes) between tasks will help you recharge your energy and prepare you for the next task on your list and this will increase your efficiency and focus.
---
Go off the radar:
Maybe the term was little bit dramatic but what I mean is take a week-end off to go and spend it in the mountains or In the woods don't check social media or news during your trip don't bring work with you just you, your friends and nature this will help you avoid burn-outs you will come back motivated focused and of course more productive.

I hope that you have found value in this article and that you will be motivated to start your own productivity system.
