As indicated by a passage recently distributed by People magazine, it was Thanksgiving Day 2019 when Van Halen halted by Bertinelli's home and requested to talk with her secretly. After they observed a peaceful spot in a companion's vehicle, he gave her a little sack, which had a pendant-size gold bar. He bought it while seeking disease medicines in Germany.
"I really want to believe that you don't believe it's peculiar, you know, that I purchased my ex this present and didn't get my significant other anything," he told her with tears in his eyes. "I simply love you."

"At the point when I composed it and when I got it done, it was exceptionally therapeutic to go through it. I didn't plan to compose a book that had all the anguish in it. It was about euphoria," she clarified. "Yet, assuming I forgot about that part, it wouldn't show you the way to happiness and how to observe that even through the profundities of the greatest anguish you can feel."
