We all have those moments where we hit our lowest, and it's hard to get up and motivate ourselves to turn our life around. I want to share with you tips from my personal experience on how to get back on your feet.

1. Change Your Morning & Night Routine.

Our routines can really depend on whether or not our day will go well. We have to first wake up with intentions to have a good day, regardless of the outcome later. Of course, let's not be toxic positive people. Sometimes, you will have your bad days. But with planning, and small actions to help us, we can improve the way we see what's going to happen later.

I like to start my day with meditation, breathwork, reading my tarot cards, and listening to positive music. I don't like waking up and not doing those things. I would usually end up being grouchy, unmotivated, and having a groggy mentality before heading to work.

As for the nighttime, I like to wind down and take slow-paced steps before heading to bed. I allow my mind to relax, so I don't stress myself out.

A Youtube creator that helped me to have a better routine for myself is The Find Guru. You can check out her morning routine by clicking here.

2. Surround Yourself with People who are High Vibed.

Take this time to surround yourself with positive friends who want the best for you. If people truly care about you, they're there for you at any time. Sometimes, our friends are busy, but that doesn't mean that they don't care about you. Call the friends who are available and go out with them. Take this time to go out and enjoy the outdoors. Sometimes, the public or outdoors can seem intimidating alone, but your friends are there to make you feel comfortable.

This could also be a good time to cut off people who don't have good intentions with you or someone else. You doing this doesn't mean you're a bad person. It means you want people with good intentions, and that's a stepping stone to surround yourself with the best people.

3. Make a new setting

This is probably something someone who likes their space, might now agree to, and it's okay. But I love recreating my space. When I was in high school, I read about feng shui and the benefits of how it helps you and your mentality. Whenever I feel like my room needs to be touched up, I set up a day and get started.

Usually, flowers, or changing the covers of my bed, or even re-arranging everything in my room, allows me to feel calmer, and comfortable. I don't think to stay the same, and I love having good changes.

What is your aesthetic? Research a before & after to help find inspiration for your home. I promise you won't regret it.

4. Write goals on what you want to accomplish

Especially getting out of an emotional rut, it's difficult to motivate yourself. Put on a playlist and write down a list of what you would like to accomplish. It can be anything. Maybe you wanna try that new restaurant by the street, or even get a new job.

What I would do during my depressive moments in my life, I would write about what I would love to have, and day by day, re-read those goals, so I remembered what I wanted to manifest into my life. That alone would inspire me to look forward to those things.

5. Glow Up (Inside & Out)

This step, helped me a lot. I know there are jokes about how women who are depressed, dye their hair, but it's because they want to look at themselves in a new light.

A few months ago, I decided to do my hair, and get my nails done, to give myself a boost of confidence. There's nothing wrong with giving yourself a makeover to feel good, it's a rewarding feeling, and you're personally uplifting yourself to be a better person. It's good to feel good!

If you feel like you wanna take small steps, that's perfectly okay! As long as you comfortable during the process.

To glow up internally, talking to someone about what's happening in your life, is a healthy sign that you want to improve yourself. Society has this negative aspect like therapy means you're crazy. That's not the case at all. Therapy is for everyone and is an amazing addition to your life. You talk to someone that can uplift you, and help you with your traumas.
