/Manifesting has become a popular buzz word, and I've seen some very disturbing 'fly-on-the-wall' documentaries where the central figure seems to rely on Manifestation alone to bring success. Wishful thinking usually doesn't do it alone, unless of course a successful business is destroyed by /slander and then wishful thinking has no defence!

Consider for a moment, what if there was a simpler solution linked to Astrology, with a very high degree of success.

Please don't discount this possibility, I have long studied the effects of the Jupiter Return. A moment in time when the benevolent planet Jupiter returns to the same position in the sky it was in at the exact time of your birth - this happens approximately every 12 years.

Having now reached the age of 71, and as I'm still above ground, I'm currently on the cusp of my 5th return. Good fortune rarely falls into your lap without any effort, but those wishes made over the years have been stored in your heart, ready to leap out when the celestial clock chimes! It's like getting '3 cherries on the slot machine!' All you need to do is put in the hard work.

At my 5th Jupiter return, I got really lucky. At aged 60 not only was it a Jupiter Return but also my second Saturn Return.

Saturn Returns often strike fear into the heart of Astrologers and their clients because they have assumed a plethora of negative analysis and fear the worst.

Whilst Saturn is austere and often brings hardships, it also brings structure, rewards from hard work and obstacles. It rules old things, like antiques, historic property and even old people. Very little is ever achieved without hard work and effort.

When my Jupiter Return came around, approximately 12 years before, a neighbouring property came up for sale. This property was a small thatched cottage, perfect for holiday lets in Hampshire, England.

River Cottage Renovated By The Author

The cottage was nothing like the finished article above, it was very run down. And, it looked like it would collapse at any moment, the biggest hurdle was that it had received a very bad Survey.

It could so easily have been a nightmare scenario, it could have turned into a money-pit, a huge financial drain and endless frustrations. (Yes, the experiences of 'Grand Designs' with Kevin McCloud, gave me endless sleepless nights).

Structural Defect of River Cottage

As you can see from the above picture there was a very large crack above the sitting room window. The arch above the window wasn't supporting the brickwork above it.

I received some very spiteful comments from my neighbours, such as 'nobody in the village would touch that cottage with a bargepole!' - Ouch that hurt!

The property originally went to auction, but failed to sell. I knew the auctioneer from my previous occupations, I'll call him David. He worked for a very respected property firm, and I was the Pensions Manager at a Manufacturing Company.

The Company I worked for manufactured tobacco processing equipment (bad news for ethical investors).

Sorry if I appear to be going off on a tangent, please stay with me, this part is relevant to the story: The chairman of the company was looking to diversify away from tobacco, and found a struggling manufacturing company in a nearby town.

To fund the purchase the company it was decided the company would borrow £3 million from the Pension Fund. The Unions and the Tax-man were less than ecstatic about the deal, but eventually it went ahead.

And then, out of the blue, a hurricane wreaked havoc over the south of England one night in October 1989. The situation was so bad, that the City of London Dealers couldn't get into the City to rescue their situation either by closing their losing positions, or renewing money coming off short-term deposit.

It was just before midday when the investment manager for the Pension Fund called me to tell me that the 'Stock Market had crashed'. Immediately I told my boss who dismissed this news with the comment 'well it only affects us if we sell some shares'.

I told him that we did sell some some shares, we sold three million pounds worth of shares to buy the new company, and followed him around to his office - he went into the office and slammed the door in my face - nice!

Unfazed, and as I had some documents that needed signing, I went to the Chairman's Office. He was at slumped at his desk with a gloomy posture and face. After he'd finished signing, I said to him "the Investment Manager phoned me earlier to say that the Stock Market had crashed".

He looked up a bit dazed, with expressionless eyes, and said "yes?"

Then I said "well, what a stroke of genius to sell 3 million Pounds worth of shares just before the Stock Market crashed! Genius" I said, "absolute Genius!"

With that he sat up and started to smile. I repeated myself, and he sat up even straighter and positively beamed at me.

We were both smiling and laughing when his secretary announced he had a visitor, "show him in, show him in!"

When David came into the room the Chairman said "great news David, the Stock Market has crashed!"

David looked totally confused until I said "what a stroke of genius to sell three million pounds worth of shares just before the Stock Market crashed. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a promotion as a result of this!"

Well he did get a promotion, his firm made him a partner. I didn't get any kind of promotion, but from that day forward, I couldn't put a foot wrong.

Fast forward 12 years to my next Jupiter return, I walked down to the little cottage to be greeted by David, who I'd worked with all those years ago.

After we had reminisced about old times, we talked business and David gave me the full picture.

Rarely phased by a challenge, undaunted I committed to renovate the cottage. I got in touch with a builder to do an assessment, he stood at one corner of the house and said in a loud voice 'the cottage is leaning forward!'

'Yes, I know' I replied 'it's falling down!'

Then he said: 'No, it's not falling down, one of the past owners built a brick porch and stopped the movement. Like a Buttress'. Not being a builder myself, this was music to my ears.

Anyway, I did renovate the cottage, and as you can see from the picture above, it became a 'hit' - probably helped by my Jupiter Return.

I ran the holiday let until the autumn of 2019, when I put the cottage up for sale. For years Astrologers had warned, 2020 was the year when the WORLD WOULD CHANGE FOREVER.

A few astrologers predicted the pandemic. One of them was Steve Judd, and I'm a huge fan of his. If you get a chance, why not check out his YouTube platform.

Anyway, the cottage sold after the summer season and just before the winter.

I expected a huge tax bill for Capital Gains, but as luck would have it, because I ran it as a business, I could claim entrepreneur's relief. Instead of paying 40% Capital Gains Tax, I only paid 10% on the profits.

Do hope that all made sense to you - just shows what a Jupiter Return can do!
