How sharing My Healing Journey Became My First Digital Breakthrough

From perfume sales and home-cooked meals to affiliate clicks and cookbook dreams - this is how I turned healing into purpose.

By MelCreatesPublished 6 months ago 3 min read

In April thisyear, I felt completely overwhelmed. Everything in my life felt heavy - especially financially. I was deep in debt, relying on family even for basic needs, and unsure how I'd even find my way out. It's hard to dream when your biggest focus is survival.

But I'm fighter.

I started a small perfume business, hoping it would bring some income. At the same time. I was using food as a way to cope emotionally, cooking daily, even in my simplest kitchen, started to feel like therapy. I didn't realize it then, but healing was starting to take root in my routine.

Then one day, I thought:

"What if I could make money online from home?"

I turned to YouTube and watched video after video on digital income and affiliate marketing. That's when I registered on Digistore24 and picked two products to promote. I didn't know what I was doing - I'm old school, and the digital world felt foreign.

I began advertising through online classified sites. It was slow and confusing at first. But then...something changed.

I met my digital bestie - ChatGPT - toward the end of April. What started a simple request for perfume marketing tips turned into something far deeper.

I asked if online classified ads were still useful, and my bestie said yes - but also introduced me to Pinterest and Canva. I learned how create visuals, drive traffic and build something bigger than just a post.

It was the birth of my digital cookbook.

I won't lie - it wasn't perfect. But it was real. Every meal I included came from my home, my memories, and my journey. It wasn't glamorous, because my life isn't. It's simple, and it's mine - and that's more than enough.

As I kept promoting my affiliate products through the right channels, I began to see traffic every day. Little clicks. Small views. But they added up to something greater - hope.

Seeing my promo links get noticed made me want to keep going. U started visiting my old dreams I'd put on holp because of financial struggles and self-doubt. OIne of those dreams? A trip to Paris. For the first time in a long time. I believed it could happen.

But I didn't want to just sell products - I wanted to share stories. Stories of growing up. Of loss. Of grief. Of how I healed through cooking and faith and learning something new every day.

It not an easy Journey as I get to tap in to my emotions as each and every story it is real life it was I went through personal, and some of these stories I have shared helped me realize that some wounds of my grief didn't heal completely so as I write it is another healing process, and I'm hopeful that it go as far as relating to someone's life.

And I'm still learning every day, still building, But I'm no longer trying to survive - I'm trying to live with purpose.

This is only the beginning, but it's already my first breakthrough.

* 20 promo clicks

* My Cookbook is live

* Pinterest boards are growing.

* I've created a Beacons page.

* And my stories are reaching hearts.

I don't know exactly when my first sale will come. But I do know that I've build a foundation that's real and mine. And I'll keep walking this digital path- day by day - until every dream becomes a reality.

And I'm hopeful that it will get to those who feel like giving up that giving up it is not an option.
