Getting to know music artist Juceno

What’s your name and where are you from?

Juceno was born and raised in Queens, New York, and soon relocated to Rocky Mount, North Carolina, at the age of 7. Having served in the US Army, Juceno has traveled all over the world including Japan, Korea, Australia, Jordan, Singapore, and Germany. Currently, he is settled in Seattle, Washington. He is now recognized as an international fashion designer

Why do you love fashion?

My love of fashion comes from my desire to be different. Fashion has no limitations; you can wear anything and put anything together. Fashion also gives you confidence, as if you look good, you feel good inside. Juceno has always been interested in fashion and design. He used to watch his mother often sew clothes for him and his sisters as a child. He was fascinated by the way she could take a piece of fabric and turn it into a beautiful garment

What makes you different as a fashion designer?

I have traveled to Japan, Singapore, Korea, and used this influence to reinvent, express, create & stand out from the rest of the crowd. I have a unique mindset when it comes to pursuing success, and creativity

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, Juceno continues to hold on to his vision to someday see his apparel and other creations in major stores and outlets around the globe. I plan to be doing international fashion shows and speaking at conferences. I hope to have grown to a place where my brand can be a household name.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

“No matter where you come from, you can create whatever you put your mind to. Also, do not be afraid to venture into the unknown when it comes to business. This journey has been full of ups and downs, but sticking to the goal, I have reached goals and continue to strive to get better every day.

What do you bring to the fashion world?

When it comes to fashion design, there is always room for new and innovative ideas. This is what fuels the industry and helps it move forward. Juceno first step was to create a line of clothing that was both stylish and affordable. He knew that many people loved fashion but couldn’t always afford designer prices. That's why he created boogie luxury. For the people that want to spend the extra money to wear everyday designer, he created Boogie Luxury.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to make an impact culturally. I want to influence the way people dress and be internationally respected by my peers. I want to use my influence to better the world by inspiring creators. I want to be someone who is remembered as someone who reached there no matter what obstacles were placed in front of him. I want people to be able to look back at my life and get inspired. I have faced multiple obstacles that would have made others quit. However, with the right mindset, you can achieve anything. I do not have a degree in fashion but I have been able to achieve many goals that a degree couldn't teach me. Fashion is one thing that is universal and you can have someone in America and Japan wearing your clothing. I hope one day to be able to travel the world and inspire fashion designers from all over.Additionally, I would like to be known for giving information to the up & coming creator. if Possible, people can utilize the blueprint im leaving behind to not make the mistakes I made. Hopefully that leads to opening new doors for the Black community and creators which has always been and always will be the focus of my career
