Get Your Creativity Back During This Pandemic!

And make money doing it!

This pandemic has officially gone on for a year, and I am BORED! I have gone through some serious struggles this year, with me moving three to four times, to my mental health going haywire and completely digressing. Now, I am ready to get back on my feet and start making money. I need to do something with my life.

I have played video games for...about...50-60 hours a week. Not even kidding. Other than me completing my school work, and sleeping, I have been playing video games from the time I wake up, to the time I go to bed. About...12-15 hours a day I would say.

I wanted to make money doing it, obviously. I figured I was playing more than a full time job, how can I make some cash?

Between streaming yourself playing video games on Twitch or YouTube, you can also record your gameplay and post it on YouTube. I play some pretty lame video games, not even going to lie. I play Sims 4 and Runescape, both on the PC. I found some videos on YouTube of people playing Sims 4 that easily hit 5 million views. With ad monetization, they are making hundreds of dollars per video they post. Doing stupid things like having a girl sim sleep with everyone in a household without getting caught, or having 100 babies. They use mods, which are like fan made cheats that can be used in the game. Sims 4 supports this by the way, they have a folder when you download Sims on your PC called "mods" that you drag the downloads into. So, the cheats are legal!

I wanted to start recording my game play and posting videos of me playing. I would then stream me playing Runescape on Twitch, on the days where I was not playing Sims. This will take up about...40 hours a week, since I would need to edit the videos I make for YouTube and post them with tags and captions and such. This will also take a bit to collect...since it takes a few months to set everything up, as well as it takes a few months to get the views, subscribers, and fans. So, this was not an immediate way to make money.

I have sooo many art supplies. Paint, brushes, wood working supplies, and a few canvas's. I also make my own candles and Chapstick. I never sold my candles or my Chapstick, I ended up using them all, but it was fun to make anyway and lasted 3 years.

I want to paint. Abstract art sells for the most money, and it is the easiest way to make money painting. You can sell the pieces through Letgo, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist even.

Go to Michaels, get on their rewards program. Buy a few canvas's and an art box with paint, they usually have some on sale. Charcoal work is great too, since you can have fun with smudges and no fine lines are needed.

You do not need to be super artistic to be a good painter, not saying painters are not artistic and intelligent, they are, but with abstract art, you have fun and try less. I am not good at art. Yet, I love abstract art. It makes me feel really talented.

So, take a sponge, dip it in some purple paint, then flip the sponge over, dip that in yellow paint, and draw the sun, then some sunset hues around the sun with the purple. Then add some pink and orange on the other sides of other sponges. Bam. Masterpiece.

This will then take up another 10 hours of my week. 5 hours painting, not in a row...and 5 hours selling the art.

Just like that, 50 hours of my week has gone to having fun and being creative, and also knowing, that it will eventually make money.

Play video games. Make art.

Don't be lazy, make money.
