George Osborne's Orange Confetti.
Just Stop Oil Supporter.

A 'Just Stop Oil' supporter threw orange confetti over George Osborne and his Bride. The couple had got married at St Mary's Church, in Bruton. As the couple, was walking across the church grounds, a grey-haired lady emerged. She threw orange confetti over a rather, surprised, George Osborne and Mrs. Osborne.
Of course, as 'Just Stop Oil' said themselves, throwing confetti at weddings is a tradition. JSO observed, that, the grey-haired lady did nothing to harm the Osbornes. Although they supported the gesture of the elderly woman, they said they didn't know the woman.
JSO posted a mocking tweet about the Osborne's wedding. The message in the tweet said: "You look good in orange George Osborne. Congratulations to the newly-weds". JSO in a statement said: "It has helped people to recall that George Osborne is the main architect of economic austerity. He is responsible for 300,000 excess deaths and as a newspaper editor he was responsible for some of the most egregious climate-denying nonsense ever to darken the pages of mainstream main media".
They continued: "However, as much we applaud the use of orange confetti at his wedding, we were not responsible". JSO have a reputation for interrupting events whether sporting or anything else. The other day they interrupted play at Wimbledon. At the 'Ashes' test in cricket between Australia and England, a person did the same. All threw orange confetti at these sporting events to make a point. That humanity's dependency on this fossil fuel is harmful not only to us but to all other species on this planet.
Of course, oil and everything connected to it is harmful to the planet. Regarding climate change and the knock-on effect from that. Many have applauded the way 'JSO' has gone about disrupting events. To make a point about climate change and what we should be doing about it.
Others agree with the environmental message of JSO and related groups. However, they think their methods of protest are wrong. Disrupting sports events, for example, denying people, their enjoyment of sport.
However, when you have sportsmen/women making political points themselves JSO have a point. Look at footballers taking a knee or wearing LGBTQ armbands. It's amazing how these footballers can get away with it but not these protesters.
Of course, while many applaud sports people doing this many think they should not. Footballers (and other sports participants) only do it because football is a big stage. From this, they can project their message political or otherwise. JSO know these events have the world's attention, so that's why they do their stunts, at these events. Exactly, the same reason as why sports people do that. Both JSO and footballers know that a big audience (who are there to watch the game whether at home or present in the stadium) will see their gesture of support to whatever they are protesting or showing their support for.
It would be interesting to see the Osborne's opinion on the JSO supporters' stunt. They probably didn't realize what it was at the time. As they turned around, to see the orange confetti-throwing elderly woman, their reaction was one of surprise. Unless, they quickly realized, from the colour of the confetti, it was a JSO stunt.
Even if, JSO had not authorised this stunt, this lone-wolf action was endorsing their ideology. A little like lone-wolf terrorist attacks are inspired by AQ or IS.
In other words, the attacker may not be a member of either terror group. But, by their actions, the lone wolf is endorsing their message and ideology. AQ or IS, as with JSO, will support the actions of a supporter, even if it was not an official, sanctioned operation. Not that I comparing JSO to these evil groups of terror.
