From Prayers to Properties: My Journey to Wealth, Freedom & Impact
How Faith, Alignment, and Taking Bold Action Will Build a Legacy
Well, here we are—week one of this wild and exciting multifamily real estate journey. I’m fired up, slightly freaked, and 100% ready to jump off the cliff and build my wings on the way down. Because that’s what big moves require—faith, action and the courage to embrace the change that’s already unfolding.
Stepping into this new chapter isn’t just about learning cap rates and market analysis—it’s about becoming the person who can handle the level of success I am stepping into. Ha! Let’s remember, I asked for this!! That’s where alignment, leadership, and faith come in. Because this isn’t just about real estate; it’s about who I am becoming in the process.
Pray Yourself Up, Read Yourself Full, and Live From the Overflow
One thing I know for sure? Success isn’t about grinding yourself into exhaustion—it’s about staying spiritually, mentally, and emotionally full so you can lead from a place of overflow instead of burnout. That’s why I’m committed to these three simple (but powerful) principles that Reverend Susie so powerfully shared:
🙏 “Pray Yourself Up” – This journey requires faith. Real estate deals fall through, challenges pop up, and imposter syndrome likes to creep in uninvited. (Seriously, who let it in?!) So staying prayed up is non-negotiable. Faith over fear, always.
📖 “Read Yourself Full” – Knowledge is currency, and I plan to be rich in both. Whether it’s books, mentors, or late-night deep dives into multifamily investing strategies, I’m soaking up every bit of wisdom I can. Success leaves clues—I’m collecting them all.
💡 “Live From the Overflow” – When I take care of myself spiritually and mentally, I don’t just survive—I thrive. Leading with love, making clear decisions, and handling challenges with grace comes naturally when I’m full, not running on empty.
Thank you, Reverend Susie, for this powerful wisdom—it’s exactly the foundation I need as I step into this next level!
When You Change the Way You Look at Things, the Things You Look at Change
Perspective is everything. I could look at this first week and think, Wow, there’s so much to learn, this is overwhelming, what if I fail? OR I could look at it and say, Wow, there’s so much to learn, I get to grow, and what if I actually succeed beyond my wildest dreams?
Same situation. Different mindset. And that makes all the difference.
My Three Commitments:
1️⃣ Lead with Love and Build with Purpose – This isn’t just about making money; it’s about creating impact, serving others, and leaving a legacy. Wealth is just a byproduct of doing meaningful work the right way.
2️⃣ Stay Prayed Up – Because let’s be real, I’m going to need divine guidance, patience, and maybe an occasional loaves and fishes miracle in this business.
3️⃣ Keep Going – No matter what. No matter how hard it gets, how many obstacles pop up, or how many times I have to pivot. I’m in this for the long haul.
Let’s Go!
So here’s to week one—to stepping into the unknown with faith, to leading with love, and to embracing every challenge as part of the journey. Because when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change—and I plan on seeing nothing but possibility, opportunity, and abundance ahead.
Let’s get it! 🚀💪 #PrayedUpPaidUp #MindsetToMillions #LeadWithLove
