For 2026 — Take The Time To Know Kindness

Being kind to some humans is like watering a dead plant. No amount of water can soften their hearts to improve their lives and their world. Kindness is life for many people. — Annelise Lords

Merry Christmas, everyone, and I pray that 2026 will be a kinder year for all of us. One with more love, kindness, and understanding for all.

Kindness breaks down doors that cruelty closes — Annelise Lords.

This flower below is showing kindness to another in need. It’s too late to save it, but kindness does count. I can see it. I met kindness early about the same time I met pain.

Life showed me that my many acts of generosity will bring me pain, but only from the ones who don’t know or understand what it is or its value. — Annelise Lords

This rock is kind to accomodate these flowers, showing humans that it doesn’t matter where you start from, it’s how you live! Kind hearts survive hell and still manage to smile. Many come from the toughest places where the fight for life begins at birth. While fighting life, they learn compassion and empathy, and develop an understanding of life that demands that they give the good they want and take. The good they do, live, survive, and protect their generation long after they are gone.

I can see kindness there.

Look how healthy and happy these flowers are, despite where they are growing from. How? Many hearts wondered, because Kindness doesn’t ask why.

Kindness is alive and well in our world, but many humans who enjoy it don’t really know how to grow and nurture it. Annelise Lords

This sunrise for hope is the Earth’s kindness to humanity. Like water, the sun is vital to humanity’s existence. The sun is reliable to all who depend on it. It doesn’t fail any of us until humanity stops being kind to the earth through the effects of Climate change.

Many humans use and abuse the Earth for wealth that they must leave on Earth after they die. They are unaware that everything they destroyed on Earth to gain wealth, power, and prestige remains there after they are gone. Kindness makes our transition easier.

Everything goes back to the Earth, including their bodies! — Annelise Lords

A sunset of promises. As the sun bade goodbye on my side of the earth, it promised to be back tomorrow. It hardly breaks its promise, and if it does, humanity’s greed, cruelty, and destruction are involved.

Animals are kind to us and don’t threaten or harm us unless human actions, choices, and decisions cause them to do so. But it’s returned when it’s given.

Humans are the only species that can’t seem to process Kindness effectively, positively, and with understanding. That inability and lack of knowledge have increased pain and suffering in our world, adding to hopelessness, mental health crises, suffering, death, and the possible end of human existence on Earth.

Kindness is powerful enough to remove hell from earth, but without humanity's ability to understand it and return it, allowing it to grow, heal, and help, we are doomed. — Annelise Lords

The image below shows a world with Kindness and one with Cruelty. Which one do you want to live in?

For 2026, take the time to know and understand kindness and its value to your life and the lives of everyone you know. Find ways to nurture and grow it, simply by refusing to add cruelty to a world already raging in pain.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Make 2026 a kinder year and world to all of humanity, including the Earth, plants, and animals.
