Empowerment Through Self Healing
"miracles do grow on trees"

When I was 16 and I worked at my first job at the theatre. I met one of the most important people in my life. Timmy was the part time projectionist and he also ran the drive-in theatre in the summer. He was the full time projectionist and manager of the drive-in for several years. When I began working at the theatre Timmy made sure he made time to meet and greet me as soon as we shared a shift. I was an usher, I took peoples tickets and directed them to the proper cinema. I also cleaned each cinema after the movie finished and got it prepared for the next audience and their viewing experience. When I met Timmy I felt even more at home at the my new place of employment. He was so friendly and positive. We were friends right away.
Most people have always said I am an old soul and I have for example written poetry since I was 7. I also had four paper routes prior to working at the theatre. As well as many other little jobs a young man can have in the comminity (mowing lawns, working in a hay barn etc etc). I started by collecting bottles when I was 8 and then it was piling wood for my neighbour and on from there.
I was mature for my age and always got along well with adults. I had lots of chats along my paper routes. So it was an easy progression to hit it off with such a cool adult that was friendly to everyone always. Soon after getting to know Timmy, I began to learn more about him. He had a very rare disease called Grierson-Gopalan syndrome. His wife Helen also had epilepsy. The disease Timmy had, also referred to as "burning feet syndrome". At the time he explained to me that it is a very rare condition and there are three cases in his family. Him and his brother and sister. Both his brother and sister had their legs amputated by the age off 22. Timmy kept his legs until he passed away at age 62. The difference between Timmy and his siblings was all in their approach to treating their disease. While his brother and sister followed through with conventional medical approaches and medicines. Timmy rejected them starting when he was 9. He simply felt that the medicines that he was prescribed were not good for him. He observed side effects, and changes in himself that he did not like. Even though he was in constant pain from his illness. He didn't want what the doctor was offering. This was with no awareness of any other options. When he was 10 though, he discovered cannabis. He tried it for the first time with a friend who had stolen it from his older brother. First he enjoyed the excitement of the thrill and the high from the joint. He then soon noticed that he was not in pain anymore. His discomfort had subsided entirely. From the cannabis joint he smoked with his best friend. This was the greatest joy young Timmy had felt in a very long time. But it was complicated joy. Cannabis was illegal and he was a 10 year old boy. Still having been so pleased with the bliss and relief he had felt from a few inhales of a plants smoke. He decided to pursue further use and understanding of the cannabis plant. He became very observant and a little sneaky. He knew people around him were using cannabis because he could find clues. The scent was very distinct and the remains of joints were sometimes left in places. He began to study the plant and became daring enough to ask questions when he felt he knew someone older had been using it. He was faced with a lot of resistance and concern when he was vocal though. Largely because of his age. No one yet knew of the relief he had enjoyed after smoking a cannabis joint. He found ways to acquire cannabis. He earned money in spite of his disease and the discomfort to walk and get around. He was on a mission.
By the time Timmy was 12 he was using cannabis regularly. He was also experiencing a new, better quality of life. He was going to school and doing great with his academics. Better in fact, without the distraction of the pain and discomfort he had better focus. He had two paper routes and found other little ways here and there to earn money. He had some connections with local teens that would sell him cannabis. He was doing great. His parents did not understand why their one son was so resilient and positive while dealing with the same disease that was debilitating to their other son and daughter.
When Timmy was 14 his parents discovered his cannabis habit. They found a bag filled with rolled joints and actually blamed his younger brother who does not have the disease his siblings does. Timmy decided he couldn't let his brother take the blame. It was time his parents knew the truth. Plus he had worked damn hard to buy that cannabis and roll all of those joints! He told his parents everything. They listened in total disbelief.
They gave him his joints back and it was their family secret. His brother and sister however did not change their course of treatment. They followed the doctors orders. Their grades weren't as good as Timmys in school. They didn't embody the comfort or mobility to work jobs like Timmy did. They both lost their legs by the age of 22. Timmy kept his legs until he passed due to complications caused by poor communication among doctors. He was in the hospital for an infection in his leg. Three doctors worked on him but two failed to observe the work of the other. They then made different decisions about what to treat his infection with. The different drugs were not meant to be mixed and he became cross contaminated as a result. This made him extremely septic and toxic, and he died very soon after. His wife Helen was left alone. She had his influence from their childhood though. They were friends as children and married later in life. She has severe epilepsy. No medication ever prevented her seizures from occurring until she used cannabis. She then went from having regular seizures to having no seizures.
I am a poet, a musican, an entrepreneur, a father, a nutritionist, a personal trainer and a healer. I owned a dispensary in 2017 in my local town of New Glasgow. It was called Scotia Green. I have trauma from a very excessively abusive childhood. As well as depression and bi-polar, according to doctors. I have worked out since I was 15 years old and never stopped. Before i met Timmy I had a very villianized opinion of cannabis. He opened my minds eye to the truth. I have since helped hundreds of people in real medical need to heal themselves and find real relief with no harmful side effects through the use of the beautiful plant that is cannabis. Scotia Green didn't last more than a few months due to legal reasons. But I helped hundreds of people during that time alone form a new understanding of how to take their personal power back. I have influenced thousands of people to have empowerment through self healing. I have shown a small part of the world a glimpse into the well kept secret that miracles do grow on trees. I have my medical license to produce my own cannabis and do so with pride. I also bought my home which is on 10 acres of land in the woods by the beach when I was 23 years old, I am 36 now. I have not worked for someone else since I was 24. I work for myself doing odd jobs and chimney maintenance. I began teaching myself how to play the guitar at age 24. I have written songs since I was seven. But now I was writing music and lyrics. Finally fulfilling my dream! I am activeluy pursuing my music career and I am a published poet with 1000s of poems written in 29 years. I am a great dad that promotes nutrition and healthy fun living. I am a coach to people in my life and actively starting to coach people around the world. For free first but my value will soon be honoured. I am creating courses about health and fitness to share with the world. I am in amazing shape and lead a productive, active lifestyle every day. I have used cannabis every day of my life for almost 19 years.
Timmy blessed me with a gift of awareness and truth. Now I have blessed you too. I use scissors every week to care for my medicine. Every 3 months I use scissors like a mad man to harvest my magic and prepare it to enhance my life. Thank you for this opportunity to share this story of mine with you now. This is a true story. I am Alden James Landry, I am Instincts!
