This year I will embody love. I will work to love myself so much, it'll be easy to love others. This creates a ripple effect in the lives of those all around me, which therefore creates a ripple effect around them. Love is exponential. I am kind and inclusive to others because I am kind and inclusive with myself. When I am kind to myself and accept my whole self, even the parts I don't like, I begin to heal. When I heal myself, it creates a ripple effect into the world to heal others, because I share my journey and the wisdom I gain along the way. Also, by making positive changes in my life and the environment, I benefit all life. I help heal others and our environment when I embody love and health, because it raises my energy vibration, which has a healing effect all around me, like a reflection. But what does this all really mean?
It begins within and then reflects without. To embody means to "be an expression of or give a tangible or visible form to (an idea, quality, or feeling)" or to "include or contain (something) as a constituent part." (Oxford dictionary, 2022). Embody also contains the word 'body' within it, and our bodies embody more than just physical form. In our physical bodies, the atoms are vibrating slow enough to be in tangible, visible form. We also have intellectual, spiritual, and emotional components to our bodies. The spiritual component is not visible or tangible like the physical, because the atoms are vibrating at a much faster rate. This does not mean they don't exist. Our intellectual and emotional body components are somewhere in between. They are generated in our physical brains from our experiences, but we cannot see or touch them, unless we can embody them. We can express them or give them a tangible form through our physical bodies.
So, this year I will embody love to inspire love. I will share my creativity and wisdom to inspire and motivate others. Creativity is a perfect channel for love, for our physical bodies to embody our spiritual, emotional, and intellectual aspects. To create with a higher power from pure love to bring it into physical form. I will do this and more of what I love; I will hike, laugh, take 100's of photos in nature, stop everything to write poetry when inspired, and reach out to friends and family when I think of them. I will do more of what is difficult but embodies love; I will stand up for minorities, speak my truth, feel difficult emotions when they arise to release them, and be more in each present moment instead of the past or future to have peace of mind. I will eat more vegetables and fruit, breathe deeply, and allow myself to continue to heal so I can continue to heal others. I will love my whole being even when storms pass through.

Maybe my Energy
Part of my purpose and part of the reason I've been alone, or perceived to have been alone, at some points in my life is because I needed to learn my own energy. Energy being my thoughts, emotions, spirit and body. To understand what energy belonged to me and what belonged to others because I now know my greatest strength is my empathy. Not everything I feel is my own and sometimes, well a lot of the time, I couldn't tell the difference. I actually didn't even know I was feeling other energies. I had to be alone to realize this was happening and begin to learn the difference. I now realize my energy is whatever I want it to be and nobody can take that away. I now know that my energy is my own to do with what I want, when I can tell the difference between my own and the energy of others, or environments, places, spaces and things. It’s liberating to be able to understand that when I'm in my own energy I can relax into it because I know it's mine. Then to realize I like my own energy when it's not affected by others because I can make it whatever I want with the power of my mind. A thought creates an emotion which changes my energy, and many thoughts have been planted there by others, or are coming from my subconscious. When you don't understand the power of your own thoughts they can take complete control, and when you don't know where those thoughts come from or why, but you believe them, you can get lost. I got lost.

No one ever noticed the days he almost gave up. There were no messages asking if he was okay. No one wondered why he became quieter. No one asked how much effort it took just to keep going. To the world, he was just another ordinary man. His name was Ayaan. Ayaan’s life didn’t collapse in one dramatic moment. It slowly faded. Missed opportunities. Rejected ideas. Silent disappointments. Every failure was small, but together they became heavy. He had dreams once. Big ones. Dreams that kept him awake at night, imagining a future where his hard work would finally matter. But over time, those dreams began to feel unrealistic—almost embarrassing. People around him seemed to move forward effortlessly. They celebrated promotions, achievements, and milestones. Ayaan watched from the side, smiling politely while feeling invisible. At work, his efforts were ignored. Among friends, his voice faded. At home, expectations weighed heavily on him. Slowly, a dangerous thought settled into his mind: “Maybe I’m not good enough.” That thought followed him everywhere. It followed him on crowded buses. It followed him into sleepless nights. It followed him every time he tried again and failed. One night, after scrolling through endless success stories online, Ayaan closed his phone and stared at the dark ceiling. His chest felt tight, not because of pain—but because of exhaustion. He whispered quietly, “How long do I keep trying?” There was no answer. But that night, Ayaan made a decision—not a loud one, not a confident one. A tired decision. He decided to keep going, even if nothing changed. The next morning felt the same. The same routine. No sudden success. No recognition. No miracle. But something subtle began to shift. Ayaan became calmer under pressure. He learned to sit with discomfort instead of running from it. He stopped comparing his journey to others. The silence that once scared him now became his training ground. Months later, a serious problem appeared at his workplace. It was complicated, risky, and easy to blame on someone else. Most people avoided it. Some pretended it wasn’t their responsibility. Ayaan didn’t announce himself. He didn’t seek attention. He simply started working. Late nights. Mistakes. Corrections. Learning. There were moments he wanted to quit. Moments when fear whispered, “You’re not ready.” But he answered back, “I’ll learn.” Slowly, the problem began to disappear. Not perfectly—but steadily. People noticed, quietly. One afternoon, his manager called him into the office. Ayaan expected criticism. Instead, he heard a question that stunned him: “Where did you learn all this?” Ayaan paused. He didn’t suddenly become successful. But it changed something far more important. His belief in himself. For the first time, Ayaan understood that life doesn’t always reward effort immediately. Sometimes, it watches. It watches who continues without praise. Who improves without recognition. Who grows in silence. Years later, Ayaan looked back at the version of himself who almost quit. The man who felt invisible. The man who thought no one was watching. And he smiled. Because he finally understood the truth: Life was always watching. Not to judge. Not to rush.
