Don’t confuse ‘Alone’ with ‘Loneliness’
We all should take our time out to be alone for a while in our day to day life.
Relationships are the most important part of our lives and it can survive with love and understanding. People are expected to give love and understand the other in order to make relationship work. So here I have a question for you all, Do you love yourself? Do you understand yourself?
Anything that we are offering to others, firstly it is important to have that.
As it requires to spend time with person in order to make a relationship stronger with them, likewise we should start spending time with ourselves in order to make a relationship stronger with oneself.
Taking some time out on a daily basis for oneself and being alone for a while is the most important part of life. You deserve your time too. When you sit alone, lot of things can happen. You may feel very relaxed after a tiring day or you may come up with thoughts or a mental chatter starts. Address everything that goes on in your mind when you are alone. That's the first step in the process of understanding oneself.
Understanding requires time, so give some time to yourself everyday and notice everything. Once we start noticing our mind we realise that there are so many irrelevant thoughts which has no reality in our lives but still it tends to disturb us, disregard those thoughts and let it go. Take some deep breaths and feel the love for yourself. You must love yourself as you are the only one who will going to be with you throughout this life.
In this world where everything is temporary at least your love for yourself should be permanent.
There are times when it becomes difficult to love oneself because our mind start focusing on finding faults, at those times make yourself realise that no one perfect in this entire world and no one can ever be. But everyone has power to improve and evolve themselves with time.
You can think about the things that you want to improve and work on it and can focus on the positives, as it is said 'Positivity always dominates negativity'. When you think one negative thought, deliberately start thinking ten positive thoughts, your negativity will disappear.
There are times in life when we get confused and it becomes difficult for us to arrive at a decision, we often hear two or more voices in our head and we just don't know which one to choose. Just sit alone at those moments and ask yourself with love that what exactly do you want, honestly you will always hear your heart answering the question. These are the wonders of spending time with yourself.
It is often misunderstood that being alone is bad but actually it is not, being lonely is. When a person can't handle their aloneness that termed as loneliness. Being lonely is just a feeling when it becomes difficult to handle oneself, it is just a negative emotions created in the mind.
I am not saying that you shouldn't call your friend or ask for help in such situations but all I am conveying that you should know how to handle yourself. Only when we can manage ourselves we can think of managing others.
Everything starts with you. Like for a teacher it is important to have a full knowledge about the subject before delivering it in the class, likewise we must have love and understanding for ourselves before sharing it with others.
When a person can handle their own aloneness beautifully they become fearless. They become more loving, joyful and a happy person. Know yourself more before knowing others. Have you ever caught yourself complaining to your partner or anyone that they don't understand you? I think it is the time to ask this question from oneself.
Loneliness is just a negative feeling whereas Aloneness is a state of enjoying your own company.
