Does mediocrity choose you, or does your subconscious choose mediocrity?
Most of the time, in work and in life, we want to get ahead,

Even in the village, we want to be respected and feel like a big deal. But we are sorry to find that no matter how strong our subjective desire is, we still end up mediocre and do not become the kind of person we imagined. Why is this? In my own short life experience, coupled with reading all kinds of information, I think that this is not only caused by external reasons and congenital defects, but our own subconscious choice of mediocrity. This is very contradictory. On the surface, we do not want to be mediocre, but why do we choose mediocrity in our subconscious? The realism of Chinese leads to the conservative nature of choice. We live in this land, and from birth to death, we are constantly influenced by various Ming and latent cultures in this land. The pragmatism and realism of the Chinese people is one of the most profound culture. Our parents, teachers and teachers pass on this spirit all the time, but it is realism and pragmatism that make us more mediocre. Pragmatism makes us need to see results right away, not in the long run. In most cases, what is best for the moment is not what is best for history. The overall reason is that our vision is often not long term, only looking at the present, is far from the overall optimal judgment. Generally speaking, Westerners like to take risks. They are willing to try their best to struggle without knowing any results. In this way, even if not everyone can succeed, they have gone out of the range of local minimum. The excessive emphasis on practical interests also limits the breadth and depth of our thinking, making us always think about the problems around us, instead of thinking about the broader issues. Our emphasis on results is greater than on process. History teaches us too much that the end must be good. The truth is that no one knows how to achieve a good ending. If the outcome is bad, the person is bad. We tend to judge a person as good or bad, and this binary idea of black and white erodes the complex and rich nature of human nature. When a person is in the scenery, many of us follow the praise and praise, but do not look at his success process and real experience, do not praise the various spirit worth analyzing, we look at the surface things, which makes us often lose the opportunity to grow up. We can look at all kinds of literature and history books in history, few of them are objective, most of them are one-sided. This kind of cultural atmosphere is not suitable for all kinds of meaningful exploration, because we can't really respect the so-called losers. Laziness of thought and behavior makes us mediocre. Most of the time we grow up, the mind is lazy, unwilling to think about the problem at hand, always hoping that someone will give us a ready-made answer. Who says Chinese people are diligent, diligence only shows in physical labor, but most of the time we don't want to use our brains. We waste too much time on small things and too much attention on our words. France's Le Pen analyzes a similar phenomenon in detail in his book "The Mob." Why a good man can finally be led to a dangerous situation by a leader. The expansion of this group psychology leads to each individual losing his or her independent self and even taking pride in participating in it. In the day after day, year after year of life, gradually fall into it, unable to extricate themselves. The pressure of living makes him physically and mentally tired. He has no spirit of the past, no action to work hard for it, and pushes everything to the outside environment. () This is an impetuous society, in which no one can change; But you can change yourself, let yourself calm down to do a thing deeply, thoroughly, to the extent of others. Greed makes us mediocre. Dickens wrote this passage in A Tale of Two Cities: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Our greed makes us always consider the maximization of interests, instead of choosing what we can do, whenever we are faced with a choice. Greed disturbs our inner peace, confuses our eyes, and leads us astray. It wastes a great deal of time and resources always in vain. We don't have potential to become outstanding person is not, nor did not become a useful talent, we eventually became the mediocre person, become a dispensable person in society, that is the result of selection in our subconscious, we too realistic, too much emphasis on the result, we are too lazy, too greedy, therefore, for mediocrity end, It seems that we can only be "happy" to face the mediocre outcome. People who do not dream must be mediocre originally excellent how we slide to mediocrity: don't "accustomed" to mediocrity
