Do You Feel That Nothing Makes Sense Anymore?

If you feel there's no point in trying any longer, if you don't understand why humans do what they do, if you no longer find the TV shows funny or amusing, if you just watch what's going on around you and confirm the human cruelty... and you come to a moment when you ask yourself... "What's the point of all this?

Why do you come to feel that nothing makes sense?

You're at an important moment of transformation

Because you are at a point of major change and transformation. What used to make perfect sense to you probably doesn't make sense anymore.

Going through moments of transformation is the same as going through a moment of crisis. During the crisis you feel outside of yourself, you miss yourself and those around you, you haven't... but this is normal, you are changing.

Your emotions are on vacation

Perhaps you have had many confusing and intense emotions inside you for a long time, and emotionally you feel tired, fed up, jaded, and in a way your emotions are also tired and have gone on vacation.

What once excited you, no longer makes sense to you, you've lost the desire to do things because you do not generate any emotion.

This is called in psychology "emotional lability", that is, you feel almost nothing.

Laughter or tragedy, it doesn't matter.

You are in an existential crisis

The reality of this is that you have lost contact with your own spirituality and divinity within you, with the fact that your body and mind function perfectly guided by your essence, you have forgotten who you really are, beyond your mind and your body.

You have forgotten what life is all about, or perhaps you are about to discover it.

You are out of balance

Whether it is physical or emotional, in your thoughts or in your daily activities. You spend too much time on things other than yourself, worry too much about the future and enjoy the present too little, focus on the negative and have really forgotten the positive.

So it's probably time to get back into balance in how you use your time, your mind, and your emotions. Also in the way you eat and drink or ingest substances.

Your attention is skewed

This means that you don't see the whole picture, that your vision is limited and you don't see clearly the reality. The brain uses biases and these are proven, when it needs to prove a belief. It does this so that it doesn't have to spend energy modifying information.

For example, if I have the belief: all humans are bad. I will look at the bad people I know, and I will minimize when I see someone doing something good. I just don't see it, I don't store it in my mind, I don't use it to expand my mind.

Reconnect with yourself

Forget everything you have learned, what you are told or what is happening in life and society. Give yourself the days you need to reconnect with yourself and stop feeling separated from you.

Immerse yourself in nature

Observe the phenomena of nature such as rain, wind, sunrise and sunset. Simply observe them and let yourself feel whatever you feel.

Contact with some animal, lie down on the grass, throw yourself into a river, regain contact with the Earth.

Create your own sense, your "what for"

This is... that maybe you are not interested at this moment in doing what others are doing, fighting for what you "should" be fighting for... but there is something that you are interested in and that is worth living for.

I tell you that in the most intense moment in which I felt that nothing was worthwhile anymore, I realized that the only thing that mattered to me was the experience itself.

If at that moment I was feeling that life was not worth living, I was feeling that, and that in itself was worth living.

And so I ask you... what do you want to live for?

It's worth it.

It's worth it to feel, to live, to create your own reality and experience, to find yourself and discover what you want to do with your life, to create your own rules and beliefs of life.

It is worth giving yourself the opportunity to be surprised by life and what is to come in the future.

Even if you think it just comes more "meaningless", it's not true. There are more experiences, people and emotions that you don't even imagine could exist, and they are worth living and discovering.

Live the process

Give yourself a chance to go through this process you're in, and to discover that maybe you were being a caterpillar and are about to become a butterfly.

The process is painful, confusing and distressing, but you will be surprised at the inner and outer worlds you can know if you give yourself to the process.

Expand your attention, observe reality

Take an objective look at reality by questioning your beliefs and thoughts. Look for evidence as if you were a scientist, of everything you believe, ask, investigate, read, observe, and come to broader and truer conclusions about what is happening with you and around you.

You will know that you are making a mistake in your attention, telling you lies, when your emotional consequences are unpleasant.
