DESIRE….WORK….ACHIEVE….

It is frequently told that desires cause hatred to people. But is that true?? Do you agree with this fact?? I definitely disagree with this thought. Without wish and desire, nothing can be achieved. Only when you wish to do something, you start working towards achieving it. For instance, only because of my desire towards writing, I'm able to post articles here. Everything around you is surrounded with the thirst to achieve something. For a small kid, buying an ice-cream is a desire and getting it after convincing parents via a long argument is an achievement. But for an individual, doing something of their own is an achievement. Achievement need not be only a great one. Even the small longings when converted to reality is an achievement. The basic step is desire. Desires always leads to achievement. Can you mention a person who had achieved great heights without having desires of his own?? Everything is a longing and desire. Your thoughts, dreams, goals are all desires.

Your desires are broadly divided into two. First is the normal desire and next is the burning desire. I'm not posing the fact that every desire paves way for an achievement. I'm trying to express that only a burning desire will lead you in the way of reaching your goals. A burning desire is not that which passes by or changes from time to time. Okay!! Now you may ask me a question,"how do you differentiate or find out a burning desire from a normal desire?". The answer is very simple. A person with burning desire will relate all the things he hear or see with his desire. For example, moon seems to look like idly for a chef. On the other hand, an idly looks like the moon for a person longing to become an astronaut. The objects are not always perceived as they are. It depends on the perspective of the person. 

These burning desires are too powerful such that, as time passes by, these desires get themselves converted into goals and urge the person to do work to achieve it. Your dreams and desires does not depend on your current situation. Be it any, financial, social or personal situation. If everyone starts thought like that, we wouldn't have got a great business man, who at first was a clerk (Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani) and a prominent actor, at first a bus conductor (Mr. Rajnikanth). The current situations never decide the rest of your life, but your decisions do. Remember one thing, if you are able to dream something, then you have the full potential to achieve it. I would like to mention a famous quote by Dr T P Chia. "The stronger the desire, the greater the motivation. The stronger the motivation, the greater the achievement".

Irrespective of your vigorous desire, all the desires need some time to get into form and achieve. You must be ready to give its time span. For instance, for a baby to develop in mother's womb needs 9 months of time. The same way, your desire to get accomplished needs hours. This span of time differs from person to person. It is completely dependent on the desire. You may all think that if we follow the roots and ways to success, we may reach it. But it is not true. We should be conscious in not picking up or selecting the ways leading to failures. Never ever allow the thoughts of failure into your mind. Even a second of thought can be a stepping stone to failure. Be aware of your thoughts. The main quality which differentiate man from other creatures is his ability to think and have desires. So have a dream, desire and work for it. Achieve it.

Napolean Hill once said, "Dreams come true when desire transforms into concrete actions".
