Inside Create Now London: A Night of Creative Vibes at Tate Modern

Last Tuesday, Vivid Magazine was in the heart of London’s creative scene at the iconic Tate Modern for Adobe Create Now London event. Entering a historic art space filled with the vibes of designers, artists, and creators, all there to explore Adobe’s latest innovations, felt nothing less than inspirational. From the moment we arrived, Adobe set the mood perfectly. Greeted with glasses of bubbly and trays of delicious canapés, we could feel it was going to be an unforgettable evening.

As soon as the doors officially opened, the room was filled instantly and it was clear this wasn’t just about the tech – it was about community. We spent the first part of the evening connecting with some truly inspiring people, from up-and-coming designers to creatives that have been in the game for a while, all sharing ideas, tips, and the excitement of discovering Adobe’s latest tools. It’s not often you get to chat and brainstorm with such a diverse, enthusiastic crowd, and it set the tone for an evening of genuine collaboration and inspiration.

Adobe’s line-up was full of talent, featuring Kladi, Raissa, and David Oku – each bringing their own vibe to the stage. They took us through the latest updates in Photoshop and Illustrator with a laid-back but confident style that made everything feel accessible. We thought we knew what these tools could do, but Adobe definitely had a few new tricks up their sleeve.

Not only did they showcase the updates, but they also shared their personal journeys into the industry. They opened up about their struggles and successes, painting a real picture of what it takes to thrive as a creative in today’s world. Hearing about their experiences made the tech feel even more relatable. The updates? Smoother, faster, and way more powerful, thanks to some AI magic. With features like advanced masking and brushes that actually feel like they were designed with creatives in mind, these tools are stepping up the game in a big way – and making our lives a little easier in the process.

And then there was Adobe Firefly – Adobe’s new generative AI that’s already taking the creative industry by storm. Watching Firefly in action was almost unbelievable, transforming rough ideas into final visuals in just seconds. With Firefly’s AI integrated directly into Photoshop, it’s like having a personal assistant who knows your vision and can create it in real-time. You could feel the room’s excitement as we all imagined how much easier our workflows could become.

Next up was Adobe Express – the perfect design tool for quick, professional-looking visuals. Adobe Express makes it easy to create complete graphics for social media or marketing with just a few clicks. Watching the presenters pull together designs on the spot was shocking and felt amazing to watch it first hand; they showed us how quickly you could customise a template, add animations, and make a standout piece that looks like it took hours to create. This tool is a lifesaver, especially for creators and social media managers who need beautiful visuals on a deadline.

Work by David Oku

The best surprise of the evening? Each attendee received a limited-edition T-shirt with an original design by David Oku printed on the back – a stunning, graphic artwork that perfectly captures David’s unique style. It’s a little memento that made us feel like part of the event long after it ended.

By the end of the night, you could just feel the energy in the room. *Create Now London wasn’t just about showing off Adobe’s tech; it was a showcase of the power of creativity and community. Everyone left feeling inspired and ready to jump back into their own projects. With those new AI-powered features in Firefly and the user-friendly vibe of Adobe Express, it’s clear that Adobe is all about uplifting creatives and helping us take our work to the next level.

We’re just getting warmed up! Next up is the Adobe Express Marketing Arcade event in London, and you know Vivid Magazine is all about showing up and showing out. We’re ready to learn how Adobe’s tools can elevate our branding and design to new levels. Keep your eyes peeled – we’re excited to bring you all the insights and inspiration from what’s bound to be another incredible event!
