Repeatedly failing to touch the milestones set by yourself? Do you feel that you are lagging behind from your peers or friends in all areas of life? The problem is that self-esteem plummets in the face of repeated setbacks in life. The importance of being confident in life is immense. A person who does not believe in himself cannot be trusted by anyone else. When people lose confidence in themselves, they find it very difficult to get out of this situation. Don't break down, it is possible to get out of this mental state if you want. Here are some ways to build self-confidence, see if they work for you!

1) Achieve the goal

Achieving goals makes a person confident. So focus your mind on achieving. If necessary, solve the big goal by dividing it into smaller parts. But don't give up. Even if you can accomplish these small goals, you will gradually become more confident mentally. This confidence will gradually become the motivation to achieve big goals. Recognize your weaknesses, identify your strengths. Only then will you will realize exactly how much planning or hard work you have to do to achieve the goal.

2) Notice your positive change

Not focusing on one's own success is one of the reasons for lack of confidence. Lack of focus is one of the reasons why one's success is invisible. This lack of attention only leads to the success of the other and the person suffers from lack of confidence due to inferiority complex. To overcome this problem, you need to focus on your own positive change. Then you will understand how many obstacles you are constantly overcoming. This realization will give you confidence.

3) Practice Honesty

Lack of confidence is born out of dishonesty. Because honesty always wins, dishonest people are afraid of being caught. An honest person has nothing to hide, so self-confidence grows naturally.

4) Exercise

Having a healthy and strong body is physically and mentally strong. It provides the courage to overcome any obstacle. And regular physical activity is needed to achieve good health.

5) Meditate regularly

Regular meditation increases self-confidence. It increases concentration, interest in work. One can influence oneself by self-realization in real life through meditation.

6) Nurture a positive attitude/ Change attitude

Lack of self-confidence comes because of a negative attitude towards oneself. By taking a positive view, a person's mind is awakened to possibilities instead of problems. The person progresses on the path of attainment, towards action, which frees him from lack of self-confidence. For this reason, cultivating a positive attitude plays an important role in increasing self-confidence.

Remember, there is nothing that a person can't do if they want to. This does not mean that you can do all the work well or never fail. Take failure as a challenge. Don’t be fooled into saying “nothing is possible by me”. Face negative thoughts every day, try to get rid of them. Stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself that 'I Can' and 'I Will'. Never stop dreaming about yourself.

7) Every day do something you are afraid to do

Does the fear of rejection haunt you? Then you have to practice digesting rejection every day. Take requests to people that are bound to be rejected. If you learn to endure rejection ten times a day, after seven days you will see that even if you hear ‘no’ on your face, you will not feel it!

8) Change body language and attire

Those who are very successful in life have some common traits. They dress beautifully, look into people's eyes and talk and present their speech neatly. You also have to practice these. Take care of yourself — keep your skin, hair and nails shiny. Bright smile and bright personality can win many battles. Set aside some time for beautiful makeup or personal grooming.

Additional points :

• Give more importance to reasons than your emotions.

• Think of at least one complex thing each day.

• Find out your mistake. Don't look for excuses.
