Brothers beyond blood
A story where a friend valued your heart more than his own honor.

Once upon a time, there were two close friends named Bashir and Nazir. They were friends, but the bond between the two was so strong that no one could guess whether they were friends or real brothers. In fact, when a stranger meat them for the first time, he would have thought that both were brothers and that they had a very close relationship.
It so happened that both of them got married even at the same time. Acording to the village tradition, both of them made the gold ornaments for their wives exactly of the same design as well.
Time passed and both were living happily with their wives. After some times to their weddings, Nazir invited Bashir and his family to his house for a feast. Various delicious dishes were prepared and offered to them. The gathering was well-attended and then they left for their home. Only a day had passed since the feast when Nazir returned home from work in the fields and saw his wife in the middle of the courtyard, wearing a dupatta on her head, beating her chest, crying and saying.
"Oh, we were robbed, we were ruined, we had nothing left, your friend turned out to be your enemy".
Nazir asked nervously, "tell me something, what happened to you? " The wife said. "that's what I was afraid of. Your friend and his family came yesterday, and while leaving, they stole our gold ornaments, oh, that's all we had."
How could Nazir believe it? He made his wife silent by some way and advised her to look for the ornaments at home. But the ornaments were not to be found and were not found.
Day after day, Nazir's wife kept insisting that if he asks his friend once, may be he will admit his mistake and get the ornaments back. Nazir initially kept avoiding it, but finally gave up and went to his friend Bashir... He told him everything, and requested that if his family had made a mistake, then it was okay, just return the ornaments. May be there was a misunderstanding.
Bashir thought for a while, then he asked Nazir for a day's time to inquire and tell him everything. The next day, Bashir reached Nazir's house in tears. And said...
"Nazir, forgive me, my brother, my wife really took your jewelry by mistake. And she was too embarrassed to tell. I am extremely embarrassed. Take your jewelry back and forgive me and my wife for the sake of Allah."
While saying this, tears were in his eyes. Nazir silently took the bag and handed it to his wife.
Meanwhile, Nazir's wife was so excited and saying repeatedly, "Look, I did not say that your friend turned out to be a thief?"
Time passed, Several weeks later, Nazir's wife was sweeping the house, when something slipped under the rug while sweeping the old beds. When she picked it up, she saw a bag of jewelry. It was her own jewelry. By Chance Nazir was also standing there watching this incident. He ran towards his friend, Bashir at that moment. As soon as he met him, he cried and said...
"You did not steal the jewelry, yet why did you give us the jewelry, you could explain it istead when I asked? I wish that our jewelry was not similar so I would have recognized it."
Bashir patted him on the shoulder and said...
"Brother, when you came to me and asked about the jewelry, I had guessed that there was a lack of trust in our relationship. Even if I had explained myself, you would still have this thought in your heart that I had stolen that jewelry. Therefore, after consulting my wife, I handed over my jewelry to you and thought that the jewelry would still be made but if this relationship is broken, it will never be made. Our relationship is much more than these jewelry. Don't worry. I am happy that there is no more filthy in your heart for me. We were brothers yesterday, we are still brothers today."
As soon as he said this, his voice broke. And both of them kept crying for a while hugging each other.
Moral: It is true that if a relationship is strong, nothing in the world can break it. But if there is even a slight crack in trust in this relationship, it crumbles. If such a turn comes in life, do not look at how much damage is being done, look at how deep the relationship was and how it can be saved.
Be happy, share happiness, take care of yourself and your loved ones.
