What we do for fame

We all search for the greatest trends on the internet. We race to be the first to catch that wave. We want to jump on the bandwagon and hope we catch some of the wind of the latest fad or trend. We love trends and popularity. We set our eyes on the goal of being famous or trendy. We want to fit in with the rest of the internet. We do the most ridiculous things just to say we did the latest trend. Have you ever randomly seen people dancing in public to catch that next video trend on TikTok. It's quite the sight right!

But what causes these trends to take off? Is there a reason or a science behind it? Maybe it's just a random chance that has no explanation. What is the chances of you finding that next big trend or ever becoming TikTok famous or popular? If I'm being honest with you it's probably pretty low.

Having lived on this earth for almost 25 years now I have found that people are strange beings. They are unexplainable. We are sheep that follow what others are doing. Only a rare few seem to be trend setters that will stray away from the current trend and start something on their own. What does it take to stop following the leader of others and become a leader yourself. How do you take off the sheep clothes and become yourself. Not trying to be that perfect image of someone you see on the internet. You need to learn to not compare yourself with others and live your life for yourself. We should strive to be unique. We should strive to be ourselves.

We will all jump onto a story and be so invested until it doesn't turn out how we want it to then we become haters. We complain against what we had at first gathered together for. Humans I have found are hard to please and entertain. You can become a trend in a day and then disappear into mist the next day. The internet is a fast place reality. If you don't keep up you are lost. It's constantly changing and evolving. You blink your eyes even for just a second and it may be unrecognizable to you. Social Media platforms come and go. They are constantly changing just to stay ahead of the times and not fade out like My Space. It's so easy now to become irrelevant. We have such short attention spans and that doesn't help this culture being built on the internet. Instead of sitting down and learning something new we want to scroll through 10 second videos always stimulating our brain with something new. If you've made it this far into this writing congratulations your attention span may just be longer than the average American's.

We are conditioned to always be looking for something new. Don't wait around for the information to come to you. If you have to wait then it's probaly not worth your time and you should move on to the next thing. This is such a sad reality that we live in. What if together we tried to bring back patience and time. We desire to learn instead of find new trends. We stimulate our brains in new ways instead of the social media trends. What would life look like the?
