You're not weak for crying.
You're not weak for caring too much. You're not alone. He has a plan for you.
It's okay to feel overwhelmed, to where it hurts to even breathe. Feel it all. Breathe it in. Because eventually..."This Too Shall Pass".
Because You. Are. Stronger. Than. This.
You. Deserve. Better. Than. That.
It's not about how many sleepless nights they caused you, wondering who they were infatuated with this time.
It's not about how many tears you cried over the years because they repeated their words so easily to others, the words that once made you feel special, feel loved.
It's not a comparison chart of how much you gave of yourself and how they only said and did enough so that you still had hope their love was real.
It's not about how unfair it was that you had to lose everything & pick up the pieces alone, while they were already moving forward with someone new.
It's not about pointing the finger and assigning who's to blame for its inevitable end. Both of your showed your Worst; neither of you were your Best.
Just Don't let this Destroy. Who. You. Have Been. And Who. You. Are Trying to Become. You will come back from this. Better. Stronger.
You're not alone, even when the sound of your thoughts go silent. Hold onto Your Faith, With Love.
And you'll realize that it's about NOT. Losing. Hope. For You and For Them.
It's hoping they'll never lose sleep because they're wondering if the person they love is going to stay out all night again.
It's hoping they'll never question their worth because they gave everything they had and it still wasn't good enough.
It's hoping they'll start appreciating the little things, in everyone, in everything, instead of just taking it all for granted.
It's hoping they'll learn to embrace their blessings and choose to become someone the kids can look up to and count on, and replace their memories of disappointment, pain, and anger.
It's hoping they'll stop repeating the same destructive behaviors and discover that their heart only wants to find the strength to Be a Better Person.
It's hoping they'll become who you always believed they could be, every reason you fell in love with them and loved them for so long, even if it means that someone else gets everything you had been waiting for...His Best.
You gave away your heart for the first time. You loved hard for the first time. Be thankful. Because of them, you know how much love you have to give, no matter how scared you were to be so vulnerable, you still gave it freely. What a wonderful gift.
Don't Feel Stupid if you catch yourself smiling at a memory of them making you laugh, making you feel loved. Even if it wasn't real, was like that with all of the others, at least in that particular moment, you felt special. You were happy.
Don't Regret the years you spent fighting, the mistakes that were made, or how long you stayed. It ended this way for a reason. Because you both are ready to say goodbye.
Don't Hate. Don't teach the kids to hate. Explain to them that a heartache just reminds you of how much you loved. And you need to hurt in order to heal. You need to feel it all. It's also easier then, to forgive them and forgive yourself.
You walked away for a reason.
Let. It. Go.
They walked away for a reason.
Let. Them. Go.
Trust in His Plan. Trust His Timing.
No more pieces are left to break.
It's time to Heal. Forgive. And Hope Again.
You'll find peace and the Best version of You will be ready...
To give it All, Fearlessly, once Again, Always With Love.
