Once upon a time, Hamid was the son of a rich merchant in Baghdad. His father gave him all the happiness and comforts of the world, but Hamid's mind was always filled with unrest. He did not understand that real happiness cannot be found with this wealth and luxury.

One day, Hamid heard about the famous scholar of the city, Hazrat Imam Ghazali (RA). He heard from people that he possessed deep knowledge and could answer the questions of the heart of people. Hamid set out in search of him.

A few days later, Hamid reached Imam Ghazali's majlis. He asked, "O Imam, I cannot find peace even after getting everything. Where is true happiness?"

Imam Ghazali smiled and handed Hamid a date palm and said, "Break it and see."

As soon as Hamid broke the palm, a beautiful, fresh date came out from inside. The Imam said, the human heart is also like this nut. It is hard on the outside, but beautiful and sweet on the inside. When you seek Allah, and your heart is soaked in His remembrance, then you will find true happiness.

Hamid understood that happiness is not wealth and luxury, but closeness to Allah. He repented and started acquiring Islamic knowledge from Imam Ghazali. After a few days, Hamid became a pious and wise person and started calling people to the path of Allah.

A young man named Ismail lived in a prosperous city in ancient Arabia. His father was a famous merchant of the city. Ismail could not find peace in his heart even though he had all kinds of happiness and comfort. He always wondered, "What is the real purpose of life? Can wealth and luxury really bring happiness?"

Search for Truth

One day, Ismail met an old scholar in the desert of the city. The old scholar told him, "O young man, to seek the truth, you must first purify your heart. Allah Almighty says,

Those who strive in My way, I will certainly guide them to My path. (Surah Ankabut: 69)

Immail was influenced by the scholar's words and set out in search of Allah.

Tests and Patience

He started walking along the desert path. One day, tired, he sat down by a well. Suddenly, he saw an old man struggling to draw water. Ismail helped him. The old man said to him, Why are you struggling so much?

Ismail said, I am searching for the truth.

The old man smiled and said, e truth is within you. You just need to search a little. Ask Allah for help, He will show you the right path.

Guidance in a dream

That night, Ismail saw in his dream that a bright light was calling him. A voice came in the dream,

O Ismail, I show the way with my light to those who patiently seek me.

Ismail woke up and realized that Allah was guiding him.

Encountering the truth

He returned to his hometown. Now everything seemed new to him. He realized that real happiness lies in worshipping Allah and serving people. Ismail began to distribute his wealth among the poor and focused on acquiring knowledge in the path of Allah.

Education:

Searching for truth is not possible without the will of the heart and the help of Allah.

Patience and trust will lead to Allah's guidance.

Real happiness is in pleasing Allah and serving people.

Allah guides those who go out in search of truth.

Lesson:

True peace and happiness are in the remembrance of Allah and living on the righteous path. The delusion of the world makes people restless, but faith and piety can calm the heart.
