A Turning Point That Changed The Game In A Moment

This is the story of not losing hope.

This is the story of believing in yourself.

This is the story of having faith.

And, This is a story of dreams get fulfilled.

With that, let me now tell you what that story is.

It was last Saturday night. At one side, I was happy as it has exactly been a week of my medium writing journey.

On the other side, there was one thought that was not going away from mind.

I wanted to get away from that thought. And for that, I was giving positive affirmations to myself.

But, that thought was becoming more and more stronger. It was trying to make me nervous.

It was trying to make me a bit worried.

The thought was about the first issue of my email newsletter.

Four days ago on Tuesday, I announced and launched my first weekly email newsletter.

It was Saturday night now.

And, No one has even subscribed to my newsletter.

Of course, when I launched the newsletter, I subscribed myself. It was to verify how the substack works, how to create a newsletter email and so on.

But, I am not counting myself.

So, In reality, I was at a subscriber count of Zero. A big ZERO!

Now, I was thinking, what should I do about rolling out my first issue of email newsletter.

Should I do it?

Should I not do it?

What is the point of sending out the first newsletter issue if no one is going to read it?

If I have to send the first issue, I need to get that ready on Sunday.

There was a war going on in my mind.

It was between my positive thoughts and my negative thoughts.

I was not sure who will win.

Then keeping everything aside, I went to sleep.

New day comes with a new hope

With the sunrise of Sunday morning, there was a turning point.

A never forgettable turning point.

And, it changed the whole game in a moment.

What was that?

When I checked my inbox, there was an email residing there with the subject

By the way, this email comes when someone subscribes to the email newsletter.

Seeing this email, I was dancing with Joy. I have no words to describe how happy I was that time. I am thankful to my first subscriber.

I got my motivation to send out the first issue of my email newsletter.

And, finally my positive thoughts won the game.

With newfound hope, I prepared my first issue of the newsletter sunday afternoon. And, scheduled it for Monday morning.

This turning point taught me few wonderful lessons.

I realized that, always think positive.

Stop worrying.

Have faith and things would work out.

And for me, in the end it did.

Even when things seem tough, there’s always a turning point that can change everything.

Believe in yourself.
