A Mind’s Wander
The mind is the key to everything you can and cannot obtain or what you have versus what you need. This is a short, but long, one sided discussion or rather spoken word poem for all to remember. You either seek out your inevitable destiny or you seek out your mind's continuity.
Mindset 1
A mind can wander anywhere, yet you still imagine the same dream you once wished upon. A dream in which reality is the imagination but none too real to believe in one's ideas or shared expressions. Many wandering minds have dealt the hands of hope and courage to self-esteem yet never let you understand the meaning behind your own angry input. The suggestion of gratitude or pleasantry to the world of our imagination can never be brought up behind your emotions but simply your heart's true nature of your defined personality. In a vast mysterious place you set out your fear, guilt, and grudges you have kept inside only to be met with the face of joy to assure us we are okay. But even faced with great strife you'll learn to let go and let your mind wander to none of its free will, but of your own. Their choosing of our own demise is set in stone once the face of true happiness arrives having dealt with multiple problems before it reaches you. It gives you everything you could possibly need, but it's only temporary. You soon feel that same darkness rising up but this time no one is there. Your mind is still wandering, never returning until your past catches up. Your imagination runs wild, but what about your heart? It is left with nothing but the lasting impact of despair to be brought down every day because your mind is missing. Never looking back brought you to the point of no return. It's the end of a long road and finally it's over. Your mind is set free while the imagination disappears along with the belongings of your heart. The dream had arrived all because the mind wandered into dark territory of the true face of imagination. When you feel overwhelmed by the sensation of having a free mind, but now what is left. Everything is gone like you wanted but it isn’t what you needed. The compassion your mind set forth brought back the pain of being forgotten by your own mind. This wasn’t what you wanted. However, it’s too late. You chose this path and now you must live it. This feeling you never wanted anyone to see is now only being seen in your head. Everything you thought or idea you have from here on out it’s nothing. You're nothing. Your mind sent you to depths of hell. The worst nightmare is coming from a strange dream. You regret it. The path you are going down is nothing but emptiness. Your entire life sucked away because your mind couldn’t handle the pain anymore. The moment you let go of your wandering mind is the moment you regret the most. If you just held on for a bit more maybe you could've changed your fate. The mind is quite strange, but it’s only as strange as the person who conceives it. You lead your mind towards success or failure, only to endure the thoughts of your inner self. What more can you do once your mind is set free? Nothing. Be careful how you handle your mind, for the strange mind has better yet indulged you into a game of its own liking. There’s no turning back; you're stuck. You wanted this, but did you truly? Now you have the rest of eternity to think about your mistakes. But the biggest mistake you can make with your mind is that your mind can only wander so far before you stop it forever.
Mindset 2
A mind's wander can resurface your deepest and darkest secrets. Just by searching within yourself for those answers you can become an even bigger mess. Most nights you sit there thinking about how you can change for the better so you can be like them. Your mind is the scariest place you can enter, but even if you enter without having a clue, once you exit you no longer have the right to call yourself okay. Everyone asks you if you are doing alright because you seem so different lately and you tell them with the most innocent eyes that you are okay. Over time you say you're okay. The person who entered your mind is screaming and trying to find its way out to tell people your true pain. No one can see through the fake smile, not even you, yourself. You finally shut off your mind, but you reopened it once again. Innocent. The demon who has been waiting has finally burst through and started taking control. Your mind has rotted into a state of no return and you wonder, was it worth it giving up everything? If only you were stronger and ready could you have fended off the insecurity and anxiety. You went too deep too soon, and look where it got you. Your mind is a dangerous game that only those who have come prepared can win. Never step into an unwinnable battle unless you are prepared for the consequences. Holding everything in too late will also lead you down the same path. There is a time and place for everything, but very few can find it. Look within the innocent and honest child and find a way to handle the unbarring pain that is inside yourself. You are causing yourself to lose to the dangers of the mind, by agreeing to the hate and guilt it has put you through. It is corrupting your judgment and you won't fight. Fighting will only make it worse, it is repeating through your head. Instead of fighting you want to join it so it can help you, when it’s actually only tormenting you. Your mind is tearing you into pieces and making you put it back together yourself with no image of who you really are. You cannot put together a puzzle without an image or else you're just plucking away at something that only intends for you to fail. If you don’t want to put your life back (together) then don’t let it fall apart in the first place. If you don’t want to fight then just disagree and move on. If you don’t want your mind to ruin your life then make sure you never walk through those same doors and reopen the pain that has already been dealt with. Do not let the demon out and consume you, instead let yourself control your actions and make sure you never forget the reason you're here. Use your mind to help you not torture you.
Mindset 3
Think back to when you were younger. How much happier were you? Seeing your friends and family all having fun. What happened? Why did it happen? You tend to blame yourself for everything. Your mind pits yourself against yourself. Why? The reason is because maybe there is a small part of you that doesn’t want to be happy. You feel that when you're happy it won’t be the same. Everyone might change, right? Your head gives you ideas and you can’t stop them. It controls you, but there's a reason you get those ideas. Your mind is the cause of your suffering. Your mind has control over everything you think. You can't hide from it. There’s no way out except for you to overcome it. Maybe the reason you're so unhappy now is because of that. When you were younger you had no concept of your mind. Your own ideas were your own. Your imagination ran wild. However, why did it change? Who or what caused all your creative thoughts or even more likely your thoughts itself to disappear? Remembering all the people you had in your life, was it them? Did they change you? But why don’t you look at it even further than them. Look at yourself. How much have you changed? It was never any of them; it was you all along. You blame everyone else because you were too scared to admit it. Somewhere deep inside it was you who changed everything. You cut off the connections between your dream and your reality. Your balance is off course. What do you do now? How can you fix this? There is always time to sulk and worry about your life, but most do it by themselves. There’s never a good reason to think bad of yourself. Never. Yet you still do. Is there any other way to let go of the pain and just be happy? Of course. There is always another way. Just keep going forward. Never look back. The past is the past meaning what is of the past may never be cleared. The mistakes you made are in the dust. The only ones who still remember are those who have no future. What happened in the past is gone and should be forgotten. Don’t remember or you’ll never come back. Those days may have been happier, but you can still be happy. Live your life the way you want and be free. Don’t get stuck in your past and relive all of those moments you think will never happen again. They will. However, the only way to move forward is to forget. Restart your life from where you're at now. Be yourself and only look towards the future. Then you can be happy without feeling remorse. But never forget that your mind will not stop trying to control you. Life has obstacles and only the strongest and most willing survive. Make sure you are one of those people.
Mindset 4
How many times have you wanted to just get away? Just go out and be alone or with the people who actually care for you. There are so many days where you feel like that, right? But who knows? Just you or maybe a friend you joked around with. Being alone may help you sometimes but other times you just think it does. Talking to anyone will help, but remember not to push yourself when thinking or talking about it. It takes time to understand your own thoughts as it is for someone else to understand them. You have good friends and family, why not use them to help you. But don’t let them pressure you to make sure you know what you think before just saying things to match with what the other person is saying. It’s not easy. It’s easier to keep it inside, right? Have you ever let it go to the breaking point? You just sink with nothing to grab on and no one to help you. You're alone in your thoughts and you sink until there's nowhere else to go where you hide and cry for the rest of eternity when you finally understand that you should've talked to somebody. Do you really want to feel like that? Useless, forgotten, meaningless, and regretful! No one should feel that way even if they think they should. You made mistakes, you’ve not been wanted, you’ve been drug down. You think when you're down you can't get up, your mind wants to stay within itself and be isolated within you. You did this to yourself, but in some cases it wasn’t you. They wouldn't listen to your side, they didn't like your side, or they just didn’t care. Running away does nothing either. You're left with nowhere to go but yourself, but you're not strong enough. You can’t do everything on your own! What’s the point in going or staying if you're hated anyway? No one can tell you you're hated or that you have nothing. You know why? There will always be someone who will never leave your side. You can’t run away because they won't let you. Find that person who will bring you back into the light and away from the dark. They’ll pull you up before you sink all the way in. That person could be anyone. But make sure you choose because of one wrong step and that person will push you back down to sink and turn every light off where there is no escape. It's not easy. So don’t pretend that it's easy and run away, because your mind will follow you. Everywhere.
Mindset 5
A mind. There's no true purpose. There isn't a true meaning behind its action. Yet why do you wonder? Questions are the desire for intelligence, right? You think your mind needs to understand the unknown objectives in the world. There is a divine difference between understanding your mind and knowing your mind. Never forget that. Just because you believe in your mind and think you're different doesn't mean your mind will comply. Its own actions fortake a complete new meaning while you believe in the impossible. There is no right nor wrong in this battle between you and your mind. You think of the impossible and use it as your advantage but what becomes of it? Your mind knows your weaknesses and there is no other way around it? You question yourself but why? If there are no right nor wrong decisions why bother? Do you want to feel in control of your mind or the opposite? Are you happy with your mind controlling you? It feels safer right? Not really. You feel safe but you question yourself. Questioning yourself all the time for a reason that you have yet to understand. A mind lives as you. It is you. You are taking your mind and splitting it into these sections that divide yourself and personality. Anything you question it uses to help you except when you don't want it to. It knows your true feelings and insecurities. You think you can hide it, but don't waste your time. In order to fully understand your mind you must first trust yourself. But in order to know your mind you must know yourself. If you trust yourself without knowing your mind you are simply a fool. But if you know your mind without trusting it you will be outwitted by your own judgement. Question your mind. Or maybe even yourself. Learn to trust yourself while understanding that your mind is your own. The questions you ask are always the right ones, but your mind makes you second guess yourself. Just because your mind says your mind doesn’t mean you are. Trust yourself. Know yourself. Be yourself.
Mindset 6
Leaving. Just leave. Leave your mind and run away. Why should you? Did you do something wrong? Probably. You just want to leave. Leave everything behind because you're so unhappy. But here's the catch, you're not allowed to be unhappy are you? Everyday if you're not happy you are forced to explain. But what if you just don't know. Not everything has an explanation including the mind. Your mind thinks differently. The people around try to comfort you but they only hurt you more. But you won't tell them will you? Is it easier to just leave? Just to go and be happy. Why can't it? Your mind thinks it everyday so why not? Because you're lost. You are lost in yourself in the true reality of your inhabitants. You can leave but soon enough you won't be able to find your way back. Leaving seems like the best but it won't help you. You'll regret every moment. In the spur of the moment it, sure it was your only option, but not everything can be decided at that moment. Time will help you if you let it. Your mind is a ticking time bomb that time itself will handle if you just give it time. Don’t leave yet. Wait. Understand the mind and the time it's willing to take to understand. Leaving will stop time and never restart. Your time will be up and it was because you couldn't wait just a little longer for help. Don't act impulsive just patiently wait. When the time is right you'll know. So do the best thing for you and wait for your time. A wandering mind will lead you to a place that you can either embrace or escape with time. Just make sure your mind’s wander is in your hands and not of its own.
Mindset 7
The dreams of deception in the awakening of true desire bring out the truth. The loneliness, dreariness, and unrealness of the mind's capabilities leave you at a loss for words. You can't decipher your own thoughts from those that are of the controlling. You sit back while your mind organizes its plan to overrule your entire system and you have no idea how to stop it. You're no match against a being that really only exists in your imagination. Something that you made up because of your frightening senses that you're not okay. You made yourself into a being that can be controlled by oneself and yet to say it's not your fault. Whose fault is it then? Is it the people you're surrounded by? Did they provoke you to change your wellbeing and become this? Was it your acquaintances that maybe you saw ok only for a moment who gave you the evil eye and you somehow took it as your disgrace. You made yourself a disgrace to not only them but yourself. The truth will come out and these delusions you call your mind will be over. Your desire to be yourself is far too outfitting that you can't even imagine it yourself. These feelings that kept you in roared out and tamed you into their slave. You're speechless above all else, or perhaps mindless. You can't speak because your mind controls what you say and it's only answer is 'I'm fine'. It makes the decisions you wanted. You said your fine sonit kept it going. You said I'm okay and they left you be while you sucked inside knowing it's not what you wanted. Instead of 'I'm fine' why not 'I need to talk to someone' or maybe even just a small 'It's just been hard lately'. Every word you speak will speak for itself if you share them with the world. Tell the world something and let them make something wrong. They may not help you but they'll support you. Don't leave it in because your mind will shatter every last piece of hope you have and replace it with guilt, doubt, and unacceptance. Awaken your true self from the delusions and lies you have told yourself and let yourself speak. Dont let there be speechless days and mindless nights. Love the self you were meant to be and show yourself you're strong enough to bring out the you that everyone knows and loves. Your mind will soon give up or it may keep going; either way the truth will set you free and your dreams can become full of happiness. Your worries of deception will fade as your new positive motions set in. Be true to yourself and your mind will have no rebuttal. It will continue to act like the devil amongst you, but you will know the truth and that's better than being alone and afraid. You may still think it's your fault, and maybe it is, but it's also your mind's fault. Your mind pitted you against yourself and you knew you wouldn't win so you gave up. Be strong and learn the truth. After that you've awoken the inner self that you took for granted and missed during those hard times. Make sure to believe in your own words and stay true to the one you call you, then the dreams you once wished upon will surely stop your wandering mind.
