2024

So the year is finally coming to an end. As we spend this last day looking back at this year we may see things that were great or things we did not like as much. I hope we can learn from our mistakes and celebrate in the accomplishments we had. There is always room for improvement so let’s make 2025 an even better year than 2024. But before we move on from this year let’s look back at some fun things that happened in my life! This year I got to ring in the new year with my fianceè which was pretty crazy! The year started off with a bang and we spent time going to concerts and hanging out with friends. Concerts are something we have really bonded over and always enjoy going to. We went to many concerts this past year including, Mike Mains and the Branches, Red Rocks Worship, AJR, One Republic, and Twenty One Pilots, and went to see some of our friends play music in their own local bands. Music is my other passion aside from writing and it brings a unique joy into my life.

Aside from concerts we also had a few fun travel adventures this year like a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, Des Moines, Iowa, Savannah, Georgia, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Denver, Colorado. It’s always an adventure going to new places and having fun new experiences.

One of the biggest changes in my life for 2024 was getting married. August 9th is now a landmark in my life to when my now wife and I became one. There is something special about the union of two people and nothing is the same from that point forward. We went on a honeymoon to Denver Colorado where we had a lot of fun exploring and going to concerts. We saw both Twenty One Pilots and One Republic there.

Another excited landmark in my life this year is finding out I’m going to be a girl dad! This is going to be an exciting and crazy new chapter in my life story. I’m more than excited to start writing that chapter of my life.

This post isn’t going to be an in depth explanation to my whole year but I wanted to give you all a glimpse of the things I have been blessed with this past year. I had set a goal to release at least three writings on here a week this year. I did pretty good keeping up with that goal and only missed a few days I wanted to have posted. It’s okay to not meet all of your goals and you can’t beat yourself up about that. I just have to move forward and keep working on my craft and content for you all. I just hit 200 stories on Vocal which is crazy to me. Being able to keep creating and writing has been a challenge but also very refreshing in my life.

My goal for 2025 is to continue being consistent like I was in this past year of 2024 so make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss out!!
