2021 is about me

2021 is about me.

It’s not about you or them or they or us, but me.

I take a firm stand, rise up on a soapbox, raise my hand to shout my name,

proclaim my fame, and chose me, first. To my self, oneself, thy on self be true in these chaotic times.

It’s the age of Aquarius of my creativity. My joy and peace have been unexplained trampled by me, unable to be me.

Somehow, I’ve managed to bury myself in all the crap that excludes who?

Me.

But includes them, they and we.

So, I’m taking the time to do things right this time, the wellness of my personal society.

I’m not getting caught up in New Year’s resolutions that are broken the minute I think of it or write it down.

Forget the losing weight part, it will go when I can stop taking on the weights of this world and just chose me. Forget the strive of success, ‘cause it ain’t gonna happened until I remove the fear, the procrastination or failure to move beyond my everyday life, and just go with my gut.

Trust the gift, I say

Trust what you say, when I say on today, and the days to come, because I chose me.

Indeed, I trust ‘cause I’m putting me first.

I’m gonna spend time with me, take time with me, laugh at me, joke at me, pick me up, dust me off, tackle and re-tackle challenges until me, I get it right.

I’m gonna build myself up, instead of waiting for others to build me up with stalled, micro-chip bits of information.

I’ve spent so much time trying to lift them up or pull them off a ledge

that I’ve use all of me up, and nothing else. So what, remains for me?

Who supplies my energy, when I’ve been completely depleted?

So, I’m choosing me in 2021 – it’s all about me

I’m not being selfish or prideful;

I’m not shooting my horn or kissing you good-bye;

No, I’m taking advantage of the situation to choose me first in all things,

to make me center of my own attention, by choosing me,

first, above all things.

And only then I’ll find solace, and peace to this mystery. The healing process of my newfound wellness ...

if you really think about it,

wherever I am, there you’ll be

‘cause we’re kinda linked together

in relationship, friendship, kinship, and rings
