Love is a complex and multifaceted emotion that can be difficult to define or describe in a single, objective truth. Different people may have different experiences and perspectives on what love means to them, which can be influenced by cultural, social, and personal factors.
However, some common themes that are often associated with love include affection, trust, respect, commitment, and intimacy. Love can also involve a range of emotions, such as joy, passion, empathy, and vulnerability.
Ultimately, the truth about love may be that it is a deeply personal and subjective experience that can be shaped by a variety of factors, including individual values, beliefs, and life experiences. While there may not be a universal truth about love, it is a powerful force that can inspire and transform people's lives in profound ways.
One famous teacher who spoke about love was the Indian philosopher and spiritual leader, Jiddu Krishnamurti. He believed that love was not something to be pursued or attained, but rather a state of being that arises when the mind is free from all forms of fear, attachment, and conditioning.
Krishnamurti emphasized the importance of self-awareness and self-knowledge in cultivating the state of love. He said, "Love is not a reaction. If I love you because you love me, that is mere trade, a thing to be bought in the market; it is not love. To love is not to ask anything in return, not even to feel that you are giving something- and it is only such love that can know freedom." therefore when you say you love someone you should be able to give it your unconditional care, not expecting a reward, gift or compensation.
If there is no love at all then engage in a journey for ever "Marriage" will be more of regrets than of joy. Marriage which literally means the coming together of two persons to live as husband and wife which suppose to be a thing of happiness, peace , support, harmony, and respect for each other will end up being a thing of strive, unrest, negligence, void and disdain if love is not found amidst the partners. Love is a key ingredient in a successful marriage. When two people love each other, they form a strong emotional bond and a deep connection that can sustain them through the ups and downs of life. Love can help to build trust, respect, and understanding between partners, and can create a sense of security and belonging.
In a healthy marriage, love can help to foster intimacy and a sense of closeness, which can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment for both partners. Couples who love each other deeply are often able to communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts more easily, and support each other through difficult times.
some says "it is important to note that love alone is not enough to sustain a marriage. Relationships require work, commitment, and mutual respect, and couples must be willing to put in the effort to maintain their connection and build a strong foundation for their future together. All these been said I still have a strong believe that says "love conquers them all", all it means is that if " love is in place, the attribute of commitment, respect, putting of effort, gentle communication and so on will naturally be a most do of both partners.
According to Krishnamurti, love is not limited to a particular person or object, but is an all-encompassing, boundless energy that can be experienced by anyone who is willing to let go of their ego and embrace the present moment. therefore you can not hold on to disrespect, strive, uncommitment, disobedient, not willing to give your best and still say you are in love, but rather you are just in the spar of the moment of like not love.
