The Sound Of My Walk
Everybody has a different walk in life,
My husband knows the sound of mine.!
Deeply embedded heal,
From the heavy weight of lack in life skills’s.
Obstacles set before me in every direction,
Staying deeply rooted in imperfection.
Branching out in life with four-way cross-sections.
It’s my state of mind
I’m constantly dissecting.
My soil was rich enough to bare good fruit,
Not sweet enough to eat,
But enough to defeat WEAK!!!
Around the base of my ankles,
I stand firmly,
Yet my knees are shaking,
All the mistakes I’ve been making
Debating and contemplating
Does my heart hear what my mind is saying?
My emotions are swaying,
What’s left in my soul… is it worth staying.
Do my ears feel what my mouth is saying?
Everybody has a different walk in life,
Does my husband know the sound of mine?
