Will you marry me?

By JEYASURYAPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Smith and Madona had been neighbors for as long as they could remember, but it wasn't until they were both in their late 20s that they realized they were meant to be together. Smith had always admired Madona from afar, but it wasn't until he accidentally ran into her at the local coffee shop that he finally got the courage to speak to her.

"Excuse me," Smith said, flashing a nervous smile. "I think you dropped this."

He held out a small black notebook, which Madona gratefully took from his hands.

"Thank you," she said, tucking the notebook into her bag. "I'm Madona."

"I'm Smith," he replied, feeling his heart skip a beat as he looked into her sparkling green eyes.

From that day on, Smith made it his mission to run into Madona whenever he could. He started going to the same coffee shop at the same time every day, and he even took up jogging just so he could cross paths with her on the street.

Madona, for her part, was intrigued by Smith's persistence. She found his shyness endearing, and she was impressed by his kindness and intelligence. Over time, the two of them started talking more and more, and before they knew it, they were spending hours on the phone every night, sharing stories and dreams and secrets.

It wasn't long before they started dating. Smith took Madona on long walks through the park, cooked her elaborate dinners, and surprised her with small gifts like flowers and chocolates. Madona, in turn, made Smith laugh with her quick wit, introduced him to new music and literature, and showed him how to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life.

As the weeks turned into months and the months turned into years, Smith and Madona fell deeper and deeper in love. They talked about their future together, dreaming of a cozy house in the countryside with a big garden and a dog. They talked about starting a family, wondering what their children would look like and how they would be raised.

Eventually, Smith knew it was time to propose. He took Madona on a weekend trip to the beach, where they strolled along the shoreline, holding hands and watching the waves crash against the sand. As the sun started to set, Smith got down on one knee and pulled out a small velvet box.

"Madona," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "I love you more than anything in this world. Will you marry me?"

Madona's eyes filled with tears as she looked down at the ring. It was a simple gold band with a small diamond in the center, but to her, it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.

"Yes," she whispered, throwing her arms around Smith's neck. "Yes, I will marry you."

The wedding was small and intimate, with just a few close friends and family members in attendance. Smith and Madona exchanged vows under a canopy of flowers, with the sun shining down on them and a gentle breeze blowing through their hair.

As they said their "I do's," they both knew that they were meant to be together. They knew that no matter what challenges they faced in the future, they would always have each other to rely on. They knew that they would grow old together, sharing a lifetime of laughter, tears, and love.

And as they walked down the aisle, hand in hand, they both knew that they had found their happily ever after.
