Your wedding day is one of the most important events of your life, and you want it to reflect the beauty of your relationship and your future marriage. Though gay and lesbian marriage is legal, there are still daunting obstacles for many same-sex couples, in the form of prejudiced and non-inclusive vendors and venues. Whether you're planning a small, intimate wedding or a big extravaganza though, there are plenty of resources out there to help you find LGBT-friendly wedding venues that perfectly suit your needs and wants, so your wedding day can be everything you ever dreamed of.

The Fear of Putting a Ring on It
I've been with my boyfriend for almost six years now. While we have had our ups and downs in the beginning stages of the relationship, I like to think we are far stronger than ever before. Most people who have met us usually say the same thing. They also, after finding out how long we have been together, are shocked that we have not tied the knot already. Usually, I bypass this comment by mentioning how young we are, how we have a lot on our plate with moving, and how it just isn't the right time for us.

Tips for Getting the Best Deal on Your Honeymoon
It's not hard to get the best deal on your honeymoon as long as you're diligent, persistent, and crazy in love. From discounted room rates to free upgrades via your airline of choice, there are endless ways to save. The deals may be small—a complimentary dessert with dinner, a cheaper rate on your rental car—but every penny adds up to something. That post-wedding, pre-honeymoon glow is sometimes enough to inspire a shift from coach to first class or to a presidential suite, but asking never hurts, either.

Everything You Need to Pack for a Beach Honeymoon
You wouldn't think that planning what to pack for a beach honeymoon is that much different from a honeymoon anywhere else, but this is the beach. As a bride, you want to remain comfortable under the hot sun and during those balmy nights, but you also want to be sexy, stylish, and cool. You're going to glow the entire time—you're in love and partnered up with your person, after all. Everything you pack should be flattering. More to the point, it should feed into the image of the joyous, blushing bride. The thing is, you're at the beach, so it's not all about the clothing and accessories. You also need to protect yourself from the common maladies associated with sun exposure and time by the shore. Don't worry. Packing those essentials won't take away from the thrill of the adventure you're embarking on with your new spouse.

Should You DIY Your Wedding Cake?
Making the decision to DIY your wedding cake should not be taken too lightly. There are some great reasons for it, of course, but there are also some great reasons against it. Things that Helped Me, as a Lazy Bride to Be. Top Story - October 2018.
Like most little girls, I dreamed of my wedding day. I planned the little intricacies and pomp with flare while imagining I was a princess wearing white. I became more and more jaded by hate of dating, and my dreams of becoming a bride faded into a dream that I would have after eating a whole pizza while watching Game of Thrones. Yeah, I was that girl—the nerdy girl who ate whole pizzas on Sunday night. Fast forward to now, I have been with the love of my life, Matt, for 5 years this November, and even after losing my engagement ring in Italy (while I was on set working), the wedding is still on, and I have never been more overwhelmed. Not only do I suffer from bouts of depression, but I have really bad anxiety at times.
