Mystie walked into the room not knowing what to expect. He seemed all but too familiar. She had never met him before, but it was just a feeling. Then she realized, they were all alone in the room together for the first time. Although, this isn't what she expected. He was teaching a yoga class. There should have been other students, yet here they were. All alone. Mystie was a little nervous. She preferred to practice in the back; to remain unseen. She generally only followed instructors verbal cues. If she didn't know a pose, she'd follow the practice of the person in front of her. She liked to focus on Spirit during her practice and let the world fade away. But in this case she had no choice but to be seen. She also had only taken his class once before, so she wasn't acclimated to his teaching style yet.
He introduced himself as Adam. Mystie looked around and stated, "Oh, great I am the only one here." But as those words escaped her lips, a voice in her head said, 'Don't be mean to this one.' Mystie felt confused, but obeyed the voice in her head. She immediately followed up her first statement with, "But at least you have a class." After that, they engaged in small talk. Mystie asked what happened to the teacher who normally teaches the class. She happened to know this teacher pretty well. They had attended yoga teacher training together. She thought maybe the original teacher had gone traveling again. Adam expressed concern that Skylar, the other yoga teacher, had fallen ill. He continued to say she was throwing up until 2am, and didn't feel have enough to teach the class. Misty replied that she was sorry to hear that, and hoped she gets well soon. Adam and Mystie continued to chat for a little while longer. When no one else showed up, Adam walked towards the open door. Mystie gazed at him, and he said, "I'm not going to shut the door all the way. That would be creepy." Adam also informed Mystie that he'd be recording the practice for livestream, but only his practice and not hers. Mystie's inner dialogue got the best of her. She thought, 'Well. This is some fifty shades of gray type sh*t.' And she suddenly had an eerie feeling. He told her to lie down.
He started a meditation to begin the yoga practice. They began the yoga practice and she felt self conscious. There were some poses she wasn't accustomed to, and she felt that the practice was very slow. The pace of practice combined with its fluidity, and the teaching style was giving her anxiety. He wasn't naming the poses which sometimes yoga teachers do. They will instead just instruct their students where to place their their hands, feet, arms, legs, etc. It was hard to follow this method of teaching. At one point, Mystie became frustrated with the pace of the practice and just wanted to know where to place her foot. So, she briefly looked Adam in the eyes as if to non-verbally say, "Where should I put my foot?" Adam started stammering, and stuttering. Mystie felt bad for him, especially since he was being recorded. She mouthed the words, "It's okay," while looking into his eyes. He composed himself, and moved on with the practice. She thought to herself... 'It feels like we're in a relationship. But I barely know this person.' She quickly moved on from that thought as well.
About mid-practice, she started to feel a shifting of energy inside her. She felt panicked, and began to sweat even more so than before. So much so that she felt it dripping down her arm. Her mind just kept repeating, 'What is happening?!', over and over. At one point, she was in low lunge facing the opposite side of the room from Adam. And she thought, 'I just can't get out of my head.' And then it happened. The world went dark! Not only was she no longer "in her head," but she was no longer in her body as well. Her soul left her body, and reached a higher plane of existence. And then she heard Adam's voice again. It brought her back down to earth. It was as if all time and space had slowed down. The moment she heard his voice she was in direct contact with her soul. She felt her soul's energy in her sacral chakra. Her soul screamed, "Oh God!" She felt intense inner energy reverberating internally throughout her entire body. This happened not once, but twice. But then her rational mind started to catch up with her soul, body and energy body. Her mind was utterly confused, panicked and angry. Mystie started to blame Adam in her mind for what had happened because she was afraid, and enraged. She had never lost control like that before. After trying to fight it; she surrendered to the moment and surrendered to Spirit. What else could she do? It had already happened! She had to make peace that she may never consciously know what actually happened in those moments; when she astral projected out of her body and into the astral plane. And when she surrendered she felt high, and experienced pure bliss.
She didn't know it at the time, but she'd never be the same. It would become clear over the next week.... that she'd finally met her twin flame.
