THE TAROT IS NOT SCIENCE

It's easy to assume a skeptical speech when someone talks about playing cards. The first statement that is heard today is “but if the Tarot is not science”.

Certainly, the Tarot is not science, like so many other things that work in our society, it is not governed by a strict scientific method. However, just because it's not scientific doesn't mean it shouldn't be used or exist.

Tarot cards are a complex symbolic system full of life for over a thousand years. They work by connecting with an archetypal energy and through the hazardous art of combinatorics, and with the interpretation of an intuitive and expert person, the most interesting conclusions can be reached.

Skepticism about something that we do not understand is healthy and helps us evaluate it and even prove it. On the other hand, the skepticism that systematically denies and turns science into a new faith is far from contributing and nurturing.

Have you ever played the cards? What is your experience with the Tarot?

It is likely that you have seen in a television series a reading of letters in which the famous arcane of death appears, which we are dealing with in this writing.

Every time this card comes up in a Tarot reading, you get scared asking about the meaning of this terrible looking card.

Well, this bag of bones is not that it announces a physical death (perhaps in combination with other cards and in relation to a specific question yes, but not normally).

Rather, the arcane number XIII announces a change. Death is a transition from one state to another.

That does not remove a reality: not all changes are comfortable and many are unexpected. The death card tells us that not everything is subject to our control and that there are factors from which we cannot escape.

This letter reminds us that no matter how much we believe or grow, life can always surprise us and that we must be prepared for it.

It is a letter that demands acceptance and many times the change of which it speaks is internally, it asks for consciousness and purification.

Moreover, generally these changes are good for ourselves and indicate the beginning of a new life that turns out to be better than the previous one, therefore, why are we so afraid?

How do you react and adapt to the changes that appear in your life?

Well, the truth is that changes are sometimes hard to accept and the process is not usually pleasant, but the end result is.

Therefore, when you go through one of these stages, remember that the key is in acceptance and renewal. A bit is like the famous phrase: “renew or die”

I wonder, have you stopped to think how you have been better able to deal with a situation of changes in your life, when have you accepted the situation and adapted to the new circumstances, or when have you tried to fight against the uninhabitable?

As you can see, the Death card is a complex card but not negative as it is usually seen if you know how to see its strength and energy. It is a letter that helps you cut through those things from the past that are hurting your life so that you can look to the future with renewed hope.

When mixed with the different tarot cards, death adopts different explanations, we have found for you a page where you can find the different combinations of the death card in case they may be of interest to you.

We therefore hope that the next time you find this letter in your queries, you will know how to place it in the place where it really belongs and that it will be of some use to you.
