Cervical Spinal Stenosis
In October of 2018, I started to feel this odd tingle in my right hand, it would come and go, especially if I spent a lot of time typing or doing repetitive hand motions. After 36 years of not having a single issue like this, I was baffled, yet keen to blow it off, I had things to get done, and a little tingle wasn't going to mar my day. I told myself to just rest the wrist, take a Tylenol, and all would be well. I hate going to any doctor so I wasn't about to complain about a little issue like this. We were in the process of moving, and you know how that is.

Why Should You Walk Barefoot?
I coined the phrase "Barefoot Walk for Proprioception" for a good reason. Long ago, when our son started walking, our family nurse wanted him to start walking barefoot as it would help him perceive and be aware of the position and movement of his body with constant feedback. Later I found that this is called "proprioception" in the medical literature. This piece of interesting knowledge construct got stuck with me for years.

Memories for World AIDS Day
Do you remember the 1980’s? I do, I was an 80’s kid. Whilst growing up in these times fills me with fond memories, the 80’s were also a time of miners striking, mass unemployment and those advertisements on the TV. Do you remember them? Those scary grey advertisements warning us about the dangers of A.I.D.S.

Cinnamon Used As a Cancer Treatment Can Help Prevent Cancer
Cinnamon Used As a Cancer Treatment Can Help Prevent Cancer Cinnamon is well known for being a natural antiseptic and has been used for centuries to treat coughs, fever, indigestion, stomach problems, digestive problems and respiratory problems. Now scientists have been able to identify the chemical composition of the substance and have found that cinnamon has a very potent ability to prevent cancer cells from multiplying. It is now known as Cinnamon acid and has been shown to prevent cancer from developing in humans. It was discovered that Cinnamon acid inhibits the production of a certain hormone called tumor necrosis factor. TNF is produced by cancer cells and it is thought that if you eat enough of the substance it can protect you from cancer. The latest study on this particular substance shows that a number of types of cancer have a significantly decreased rate of growth in people who have consumed a large amount of Cinnamon acid. The researchers carried out an experiment where they gave blood samples from volunteers. They then looked at the levels of TNF in the blood and found that those who had a high amount of cinnamon in their diet had lower levels. They also noticed that the men were less likely to develop prostate cancer.

Adapting to the Deficiency of Smell and Taste
As I cut a cut of lemon for my tea one morning last March, I found that I was unable to distinguish the natural punch of citrus. Nor, it ended up, might I be able to taste the peach jam on my toast. EPIC Trading Review Overnight, my feelings of smell and taste appeared to have vanished. In the days before that I'd had body throbs and chills, which I attributed to a pre-spring cold — nothing, I idea, a pain relieving and some vacation couldn't deal with. In any case, sometime thereafter I saw a paper article about the deficiency of smell and taste in patients with COVID-19, and I understood that I'd probably contracted the infection. EPIC Trading Review While I was blessed enough to ultimately recuperate from it without an outing to the medical clinic or more terrible, months subsequent to testing negative for COVID, my feelings of both smell and taste are as yet not completely recuperated.

Ode to a Knee
I’ve been dealing with knee issues for over thirty years. The problem first surfaced while playing softball when I was in my late twenties. I developed a sharp pain in my right knee after a game. It went away but resurfaced again the next time I played. Being a bit hard-headed, my response was to ice it down and just take it easy. That seemed to make things manageable and I made it through the next few months, but eventually it caught up with me once again and started to affect me at work. Walking on concrete and standing around for twelve hours at a time became a painful chore. The once sporadic and nagging pain had become constant. Now, I’ve never claimed to be the tri-athlete type, but my knee by this time was affecting even my limited and almost sedentary lifestyle. I knew it was time to see the Doc.
