My HIT Weight Loss
This photo is of me in July before diagnosed, September a week after being diagnosed and March before my holiday! One of my symptoms of HIT was unexplained weight issues. I would always be a stone heavier than friends who were the same dress size and height. Doctors would also predict my weight to be a stone lighter than I was. I was picked on at school for being the bigger one out of my friends. Tried diet after diet as the comments really effected me. Through every diet nothing really changed. I have always been active as I studied musical theatre and went to various dance classes growing up, so it wasn't due to lack of exercise. I ate a balanced diet. Didn't over eat. HIT can cause a lot of water retention and problems loosing weight. After a month and a half of a histamine-free diet, I had lost nearly 2 stone.

An Introduction to HIT
Do you have unexplained anxiety? Do you often suffer from cramps and sore muscles? Do you sometimes get red cheeks when you drink alcohol? Have you suffered from constant fatigue? If so, you may have histamine intolerance. Doctors believe 1 in 3 people may suffer from the condition, but only a few have been diagnosed.

Why People Should Take Celiac Disease Seriously
I wish that I could say the first day of 2017 started out great. I wish I could say a lot of things. Things like "want to stay in tonight and order pizza?" and "let's go get donuts and coffee for breakfast." Sadly, 2017 did not start off great at all, and I can not bring any foods or drinks with wheat, barley, or rye into my house, and neither can the rest of my family or friends.

What Is the Keto Diet Anyway?
Here's a question for you. What is the Ketogenic Diet anyway? I know that when I first heard about it, I had no clue what it was or all the benefits that it can provide to your body. It seemed too good to be true, so I wanted to go home and do my research. Once I found out more information, I wanted to share with everyone so that they can decide for themselves if this is something they would like to try.

Easy Clean Eating Recipes
One of the biggest trends in the diet world is learning how to eat clean. Clean eating, as it's known, is the practice of eating foods without preservatives, unknown chemicals, or otherwise bad, processed gunk in it. The movement also avoids "bad grains" like wheat, typically.

Why I Avoid Sugar
In March of 2015, I underwent weight-loss surgery in order to make my life healthier and more fulfilling. It was a decision I took very seriously, and to be honest, I was terrified. During the process, I had to take nutrition classes and learn about food in a very different way. However, no matter how much they talked about healthy eating, they never really said stay away from bad foods. Instead, it was always said to eat treats in moderation.
