Patience does not come prepackaged with a pretty little red bow. It is a gift to oneself, constructed with intentional practice. Perceived timelines must dissolve, erasing self-inflicted pressure. Patented equals a personal copyright, only when ready. Racing is neither embracing the lesson nor is it a reason. Slow and steady is the course. Perseverance is the season. -Marilyn Glover

Good morning and welcome to the Monday Morning Huddle for December 29! This is the final huddle post for 2025, concluding my one-year Vocal Media project, which began with the New Year, New Projects Challenge.

While my creative experiment started on a high note, unforeseen events that occurred in February affected my presence and dedication, resulting in missed posts and my longest absence from the beginning of November until today.

Starting strong, I intended to uplift humanity through nature-inspired, spirit-guided weekly messages, but then a work-related accident altered the course. Moving forward, sometimes I showed up, sometimes I didn't. Navigating the repercussions of a knee injury has affected everything from my health, both emotional and physical, to my finances, being unemployed, and my overall state of well-being.

Bouts of depression have kept me away; after all, if feeling personally uninspired, how could I possibly inspire others?

How dare I attempt to uplift other souls if I were feeling down in the dumps, lost, and without purpose?

Then, only days ago, something occurred to me during my latest doctor's visit on December 22. My doctor actually said I could run now, if I wanted. At seven weeks postoperative knee surgery, this sounded like terrible advice, especially since the procedure revealed more damage than initially suspected, and I am still healing. To the doctor, whose bedside manner is less than appealing, I responded, "No, it's slow and steady for me. I need to be patient."

At this very moment, I realized something I've been overlooking throughout much of 2025: PATIENCE.

An obvious aspect to most, no doubt, but to someone who is undeniably caught up in one of life's storms, not so much.

Yet, my very own words provided the breakthrough I so desperately needed. Then my spiritual sight kicked into overdrive, as it often does when I find a so-called puzzle piece that's actually been staring me down all along. True to human nature, we often overlook the answers to our pressing concerns, especially when the answers are only a head nod away.

December 22, 2025, provided my official spiritual head nod moment, but it was much more; it was an instant followed by angelic blessings. These blessings were messages, ones that have been following me all year, and ones meant to be shared. As a lightworker, I understand that my epiphany moment serves more than myself.

Angelic Blessings: Channelled Messages and Numbers

Many of you know that I firmly believe in angels. My first recollection of an angelic presence was in 1996 after I miscarried my son, whose name happened to be Angelo. Immediately after, I became pregnant again and carried to term my daughter, Blessed (Bless ed). Approaching thirty years of relevant experience, research, and wholehearted dedication, I like to think my connection to these benevolent beings serves a purpose.

A purpose greater than I can imagine.

My first angelic message comes from decorating my Christmas tree earlier in December. Initially, I was feeling anything but festive this year, but when I began dressing my tree, particular thoughts came over me, which at the time felt unfamiliar to my nature.

For the last four years, I have had a small four-foot angel wing-themed tree. While adding the fluffy wings, I had a sudden longing for snow. It felt odd, especially since I am prone to winter depression and other than skiing (which I cannot do right now), I'd much rather be outdoors enjoying warmer weather. Immersing myself in the experience revealed this message:

"You are not a tethered horse, tied to a post; in this season, you learn the most. Utmost importance: Winter's still be your quil"

Channelled messages always come to me from what feels like out of nowhere, but in retrospect, most certainly hold great meaning. Personally, I believe that this winter will be one involving deep reflective writing; a slow process, where time is not measured. Meditative moments, nature's blanketed season, one of rest, relaxation, and prepping renewal.

For the first time since childhood, winter feels most enticing. Connecting with patience requires a period of slowing down, introspection, releasing all the worry that does not need to be in my wardrobe, for it isn't fit for wear. Of course, cold weather means bundling up and extra layers, but it's also a season of cozy couch and cat moments, warm fuzzy socks, hot cocoa, woodfire scented rooms, and a relaxed mindset.

Winter wills the weary to wake the wonder, and I shall...

What about you?

The second angelic message comes from my dreams, which are often indicative of certain numbers when the divine is calling for my attention. Specific numbers have dominated my dream space during 2025, and these digits haven't slowed down during December.

2020- Angel number 2020 calls for adaptability, compassion, consideration, and diplomacy while serving others in one's day-to-day life. Maintain strong convictions, acting accordingly while remaining balanced and peaceful in all aspects of life. 2020 also speaks of things going on behind the scenes, things that are not yet apparent but will prove beneficial in the near future. Task: remain hopeful, patient, and believe in the material and spiritual blessings that are on the way.

50- Angel number 50 calls for courage while making positive personal changes that will benefit one's lifestyle, and not to allow inner fears or the negative words of others to hinder or deter one from their transition.

54- Angel number 54 speaks of angelic guidance, aiding intuition while making level-up changes to one's life that will result in goal achievement and met aspirations through hard work and dedication. Using positive affirmations will help lead one to their divine life purpose.

55- Angel number 55 speaks of purpose, not coincidence, and asks one to remain positive while undergoing major life changes. Trust and believe that current changes have a higher purpose and are for the greater good, even if one cannot understand or see the relevance with the physical eye. Spiritually, changes are meant to release blockages, outdated habits, ideologies, and other obstacles, preparing one for new opportunities that align with one's life purpose.

The above numbers have frequented my dreams throughout 2025, providing significant personal spiritual guidance, but I believe the numeric presence far reaches me.

Looking closer at the numbers reveals something relevant, although it might seem coincidental. If you don't know already, I don't believe in coincidence.

2025 is number 9 year, which signifies endings. From my list, 54 appears, which, when reduced, equals 9.

Is it possible that my dreambound 54 speaks to the collective?

Might 54 be a sign, a calling for more people to embrace positive changes with conviction, acting accordingly, yet all while acting with utmost compassion and consideration for their fellow man?

After all, 9 is also the lightworker's signature, calling for more souls to step it up and take their place serving humanity for its greatest good.

I think we can all agree that humanity needs all the help, love, and support it can get.

A look ahead to 2026, a number 10 year brings me to 55 from my above list.

10 reduced to 1 is a restart, huge changes, next level transition, chance to begin anew. It's much greater than physical evolution; it's a spiritual powerhouse uptick, one that requires removing the shackles of outdated constraints.

Several times after having my recurring number dreams, I've awakened with this specific message:

"The equation is greater than you can understand; don't try the math. Don't add. Don't subtract. Don't divide. Observation incites spiritually multiplied."

Perseverance Versus Patience

While number dreams began earlier this year, my recent "Patience revelation" inspired playback moments, connecting recurring dreams to decorating my Christmas tree, resulting in a personally decoded narrative meant to share. Looking back, the word "perseverance" beams at me like a golden ray amidst a storm.

Perseverance is the nudge to the waiting period of patience

Patience requires waiting. It's a still period, quiet, much like winter. Sometimes it feels like a long, cold season of nothingness, but trust that underneath the ice and snow, something new awaits birthing. Just like winter becomes spring, doubtful times will pass, revealing brighter days.

Perseverance is patience's nudge. It need not be bold, just active. Sticking it out through life's toughest tasks and experiences with determination is a necessary forward-moving process. Clear-sighted goals and developing new strategies amplify endurance, making a troublesome period an opportunity to evolve.

As partners, patience deters burnout and frustration, and perseverance ensures that giving up is not an option by actively moving forward.

Is it easy? No. It isn't meant to be.

Life will often test one's patience. It's a lesson of suffering and the grit necessary to push through all obstacles, seeing things to the end. Once through to the other side, strength reveals the inherent abilities previously unseen.

Spiritual Sidenotes 😇

The following are some spiritual sidenotes that I find relevant, and I hope they provide clarity where needed or perhaps further confirmation for the curious reader.

2025 is the year of the snake, signifying wisdom born of transformation. A number 9 year, indicative of the end of a cycle or life phase, corresponds with the snake's skin shedding. The snake sheds its skin over a course of days to weeks, depending on the breed, age, and other factors. For humanity, the snake equals a year of endings, shedding what no longer serves, as a new phase cannot begin until all that is outgrown is left behind.

2026 is the year of the horse, an action-motivated energy, which is quite a shift from the snake's slow-motion reflective vibration. As a number 10 year, the theme aligns with new beginnings, looking forward to fresh starts and endeavors with a positive attitude. True to a horse's free nature, 2026 will pick up the pace, with adventure, passion, and progress at the energetic forefront.

Snake energy also teaches patience, as transition is a process. As 2026 approaches and the spiritual baton passes to the horse, the shift will be evident on Earth, recognizable in sudden turnarounds, faster decisions, quicker results, and speedier transits. An unbridled horse runs wild and free, instinctively knowing where it needs to go, but it also knows when to slow down, stop, rest, and replenish itself.

Moving forward, perhaps one might consider this:

Patience and perseverance born in 2025 meet a new era in 2026. While a faster pace on the horizon will feel like a pleasant shift after a long, drawn-out period of struggles, the challenge will arrive in the form of knowing when to tame the energy, or take the reins, so to speak. Balance will be a key theme in the coming year, as it combines snake and horse spirits. Intuition and the lessons learned from patience will guide the way with an inner knowing when to adjust the course speed accordingly.

Final Thoughts 🤔

Closing out my year-long Vocal Media project leaves me thinking about 2026; will I continue the Monday Morning Huddle or not?

Intuitively, I am urged to carry on with my weekly inspirational post, but with an evolved version. I have much to consider.

Personally, although I've made it through a challenging year with health-related issues, spilling over into every facet of my life, the challenges are far from over. Legal issues persist as my lawyer fights for my lost wages and other injury-related matters. 2026 will require continued patience and perseverance as I move forward rebuilding my life. Snake spirit will be an essential guide akin to Horse spirit's passion for freedom. My best course of action is steady does it, moving forward, all while applying intuition and discernment to maintain balance in a year dedicated to life anew.

Wishing all a very Happy New Year and many blessings to follow in 2026!

💖Your introduction signaled just how intentional this piece was. I am proud of you for quoting your own words; they are set in my mind as if they were carved into a museum wall or printed in a permanent tome. I liked the burst of poetic moments, especially the line "winter wills the weary..." It made you sound inspired, and it turned my own creative gears toward a more resonant rhythm. It was a fair question: If you weren't inspired, how could you inspire others? 🤔The transition was a paradox. You sought answers from the doctors; the erudition of the world; but you found the origin of the solution in the word "patience" rather than "run".

Health-related issues, spilling over into every facet of my life, the challenges are far from over. It's a top issue. Take care.

Sorry for the late response to your piece. You have done a great job on these pieces, and I hope they continue. You do have patience and perseverance, and you have overcome a lot. Happy New Year!!!!

I too have faced challenges in 2025, and though I do not believe in angels, the message about perseverence and patience is perhaps one I needed to hear.

My healing thoughts are with you, Marilyn. Depression is a beast, yet you are far stronger than the bouts take you for. 2025 has been a year of endings; perhaps the beginning of the year felt fresh, but it's just been an end to 2023/24/25, I feel these three years were rolled into one. I've certainly made peace with many regrets and frustrations in my past this year. I've taken up a sport (one I thought I couldn't perform at a high level ever again) and surprise surprise, I'm playing oddly well?! I've entered some nationals tournaments in the new year, so your mention of 2026 being fresh is definitely apt for me! Goodness, I turn every comment into a pantomime about me. Oh well, I am a bit selfish. Something to work on in 2026! Love ya ^_^

Your reflections on 2025 and preparation for 2026 are thoughtful and motivating. Thanks for sharing!

  • Yayyyyy, I'm born in the year of the Horse. I remember I'll be turning 36 next year but I forgot about it being Horse year. As for patience and perseverance, those are not in my dictionary, lol. May only good things come your way from the New Year ✨️❤️

I see your dedication, and I truly appreciate it. You've shared quite a bit of personal knowledge and spiritual insight. For me, it all equals a person intuitively in tune with reality and its workings. Regardless of bad times and misfortunes, the ability to interpret means you/we/anyone can get right back on track by taking the time to understand the many facets. The universe is listening... Thank you again!!! Outstanding work with this entire series. Maybe the huddles are meant to be compiled and shared with a broader audience. You've basically wrote self-help novella.

  • Marilyn, this is apt....I was just thinking of my life and work purpose as well. The alignment of numbers here is fascinating.
