Learn How To Clear Bad Toughs Fear and Think Rationally

THINK RATIONALLY, CLEAR YOUR MIND

By Chris FranklinPublished 5 years ago 4 min read
TRANQUILITY

This concentration exercise is designed to help you become aware of  your own thoughts and eventually you can take more control of  your mind. The main goal here is to help you create AWARENESS and help to re-develop your listening ability, rational thinking and confidence.

MEDITATION / CONCENTRATION TIME

A minimum of 15 minutes of meditation is required up to 30 minutes section. Please sit comfortably in a reasonable quiet place, you won't need any music on the background, please switch off your cell phone as we don't want surprising disruptions from people or anything that might "stop you from meditating or trying to concentrate".

DON'T GIVE UP

Be persistent, but in case you could not achieve the calmness in this first section, that's ok, finish it off this section as best as you can and start all over again tomorrow at the same time, as discipline is most important to mediators and to people that need more concentration and rationality.

Persist until you get this section right and try for 1 month at least. After that we will alternate with another meditation. Do this meditation "2" times a day, if possible "3" times a day, for at least 15 minutes each time up to 30 min. Consistency will help to master this section; until your mind is not "thinking" compulsory as much.

Sit in a comfortable Chair (not lying down) and close your eyes so you can"observe" what is in your mind, even if is not good. Don't fall asleep, otherwise it won't work.

Now, with your eyes closed, you will start to LISTEN to a "Sound inside Your Mind". Find the SOUND, even if is noisy in your surroundings you can still listen to this constant sound that never ends.... Listen.... it's always there.

LISTEN, LISTEN, TO THE CONSTANT SOUND IN YOUR MIND FOR 3 MINUTES, FOCUS, DON'T GET DISTRACTED

NOW LISTEN TO ALL THE SOUNDS AROUND YOU INCLUDING THE SOUND OF YOUR MIND, LISTEN TO EVERYTHING AT THE SAME TIME

LISTEN TO ALL THE SOUNDS AT ONCE, EVEN IF THE ROOM IS QUIET, KEEP TRYING TO LISTEN TO ANY SOUND THAT IS AROUND...

KEEP LISTENING TO WHATEVER YOU CAN HEAR, MAYBE A CAR PASSES OR A MOTORBIKE PASSES BY...

PEOPLE MAYBE TALKING, LISTEN TO THE SOUND OF THEY VOICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL ELSE, THE WIND, BIRDS, NOISES...

LISTEN FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES, DO NOT FALL SLEEP OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK, REMEMBER THIS IS TO RISE AWARENESS AND BE MORE RATIONAL SO YOU HAVE TO BE AWAKE AND CONSCIOUS.

KEEP LISTENING, KEEP FOLLOWING THOSE SOUNDS, SEE WHERE THEY TAKE YOU, IF THERE IS ANY. IF IS ALL SILENT, JUST LISTEN TO THE MIND SILENT SOUND.

Congratulations you have finished the first concentration, meditation exercise of this course.

Now straight away please write down any thoughts that might be persisting, like: "i'm not feeling good" or "i have so much to do" or "my husband.." or "I need this or that" or "I'm hungry"....

Write down sensations and "write down any though or phrase, or word or expression that comes to your mind. Write down "what are you thinking" to some detail, best to write at least 1 A4 size page, up to 3 pages max. Once you wrote all down, have a read at that.... and ask yourself:

Are those thoughts Truthful? ____________,____________

Are those thoughts of ____________,__________ a priority?

Are those Emotions Real? _____________,______________

Are those Sentiments ___________,____________Necessary?

Is this ___________ Emotion(s) really necessary? Do I need this?

Is this ____________ Desire(s) Necessary? Do I really need this?

Do I feel Fear? What do I need FEAR for in my mind? ________,

Is Fear an Illusion? Why I am following this Fearful though?

Am I too attached to those toughs, ideas, emotions, desires etc...?

Do I really want to let go the compulsory thinking?

Now, have a read of what comes from your mind and the WAY it comes. It is positive or negative, it's Emotional, it's RATIONAL, it does make sense? Do you really want to think some of those thoughts or not? Does it comes from you yourself or it seems that its something you don't really want to think about but its somehow there? Are you following those toughs to a dead end?

After reading, just close your eyes and just let that go completely. If those toughs keep coming back, don't worry either, get back to listening, practice, listen to any sound around you, classical music is good at this stage, or just a guitar, but not vocals that can add ideas, emotions or sentimentality into your mind. The goal is to clean your mind, empty your cup, Not to add things, desires, emotions, fears of all kinds in it, but empty it completely.

Do this process everyday for at least 1 month, after that diminish the writing for a few main words only, but keep writing. Phrases or a few paragraphs are also good, do for another 2 months, after that, eliminate the writhing, but maybe keep once a month to keep in check, and maybe just keep practicing this concentration exercise, it won't hurt.

This simple exercise is just Wonderful, it will help you to see things in a Real perspective, helping you to become aware. It's different than just think think think in whatever is coming to your mind and analyzing all of those thoughts all the time. That alone can lead to confusion, exhaustion and even insanity or a total misinterpretation of situations and your reality.

Thank you for reading and take care :)
