Judge AIDS or syphilis

What is AIDS?

AIDS (AIDS), the final stage of human infection by immunodeficiency virus, is a very harmful infectious disease caused by HIV infection and cannot be cured by current medical technology. HIV is a virus that can attack the human immune system. Most modern scholars believe that it originated in Africa. It takes the most important CD4T lymphocytes in the human immune system as the main target. After massive destruction of these cells, the human body loses most of it. Immune function, high mortality due to disease. However, the HIV virus has a very poor ability to survive outside the body, is intolerant to high temperatures, and has low resistance. It is not easy to survive without the human body. It is often widespread in the blood, semen, vaginal secretions, saliva, urine, milk, cerebrospinal fluid and nerves of patients. In the brain tissue of the symptomatic person. Among them, the virus concentration in blood, semen, and vaginal secretions is higher than other body fluids, so under normal circumstances, it is only through direct contact with certain body fluids (blood, semen and pre-semen fluid, rectal fluid, Vaginal fluid, breast milk, etc.) before it is possible to be infected.

On the other hand, the average incubation period of HIV in the human body is 8-9 years. During the incubation period of HIV, the human body can live and work without any symptoms. Therefore, the human body has a relatively long pathogenesis after being infected with HIV. The long latent infection process can be roughly divided into four periods: 1. Acute infection period: The patient often has fever, rashes, lymphadenopathy, and occasionally. Symptoms such as fatigue, sweating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pharyngitis, neuropathy, etc.; 2. Asymptomatic infection period: the infected person will not have any symptoms at this stage, but HIV will continue to multiply in the infected person's body; 3. AIDS Early stage: The patient will have persistent lymph gland enlargement. In addition, there may be muscle pain, weight loss of more than 10%, periodic fever that lasts for several months, night sweats, headache, depression or anxiety, and the appearance of herpes simplex Viruses, Candida albicans and other pathogenic infections; 4. Typical AIDS period: This period is the final stage of HIV infection. Because the immune system is severely damaged, patients are prone to severe cellular immune deficiency and various fatalities. Opportunistic infections, various malignant tumors, and various serious syndromes, so I won’t go into too much detail here.

It is understood that there are about 39.5 million people infected with HIV in the world, and more than 8,000 infected people die every day. About 4.3 million new cases are added every year. This means that 110,000 people are infected every 8 seconds in the world. Infected with HIV. Moreover, in recent years, the age group of HIV-infected people has been advancing continuously, the incidence rate among young and middle-aged adults is getting higher and higher, and the overall number of patients is also rising. This is worth thinking about!

How does syphilis manifest itself?

Syphilis is a disease unique to humans, which can be divided into acquired dominant syphilis, acquired recessive syphilis, pregnancy syphilis, congenital dominant syphilis and congenital latent syphilis by its clinical manifestations. Sexual contact is the most important way of transmission, roughly accounting for more than 95%. After infection, the immune barrier of the human reproductive system will be destroyed to a certain extent. Usually, patients will have the following symptoms: genital erosion, lymphadenopathy (occasionally hepatosplenomegaly), subcutaneous nodular ulcers, neurological dysfunction, etc. Hard chancre and so on, about 70% of patients will also have a rash (also called syphilis). The skin lesions, secretions, and blood of people infected with syphilis contain Treponema pallidum. The infection is the most contagious in the first 2 years after infection, and the sexually transmitted infection is greatly reduced after 4 years.

It is worth noting that, unlike AIDS, syphilis can be treated with long-acting penicillin, and most patients can be cured, but this does not mean that we can ignore syphilis. According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), there are approximately 12 million new syphilis cases worldwide each year, mainly in South Asia, Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Correct treatment of disease

Both syphilis and AIDS are sexually transmitted diseases with a high incidence, which cause serious damage to human health. After Yeyeshengge, if there are some abnormalities, for your own safety, it is recommended to go to the local CDC in time for free simultaneous testing of syphilis and AIDS for further accurate screening. If there is an accident, don't be too panic and pessimistic. Syphilis can be cured, and AIDS can also be treated with antiviral drugs. Survival is no problem. After some patients are detected, they will bring huge psychological pressure to themselves. Excessive psychological burden will aggravate the condition or induce other accompanying diseases. Therefore, when patients are treated, they should eliminate the burden in this regard and actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment, so that the condition can be effectively relieved and controlled.

Of course, we also need to actively prevent a series of diseases such as AIDS and syphilis in our lives. Although people's ideas are more avant-garde, the self still has to develop a good habit of self-cleaning and self-cleaning, and do not engage in high-risk behaviors at will; you should also go out to exercise more on weekdays, strengthen your body's resistance, and stifle the disease from the root. For people infected with AIDS and syphilis, there is a certain amount of pressure on the moral level. We should not discriminate against people even if we take protective measures.
