Life in the age we live in is genuinely chaotic; we wake an expected to jump through hoops and juggle all the demands of modern life daily and with little rest. Symptoms can lead to burning out, suffering, and an unhealthy mindset, are we going too fast and not realizing our potential? Meditation benefits allow us to open our minds to a whole new world of possibilities and write our own story and dictate our future.

Meditation is the golden acorn in the mysteries of life; it’s the one thing that centres you, eases you into a ‘warm fuzzy’ feeling of contentment and ultimately a grasp of all your thoughts so you can blast through any obstacle you come across.

Why is meditation so vital for us, anyway?

The discovery of meditation scales back 1500 years ago in the far east where ‘our friendly monks’ wanted methods to still their minds, see the world and themselves for what it is with wide-open eyes and clarity of thought. Meditation exists within Buddhism and Hinduism customs; however, no knowledge of its inception has is discovered.

Without the daily stresses and strains on the mind and body, this allowed a deeper connection between the ‘oneself’ to be happier.

Meditation formed their religious practice and tradition. To this day is undertaken in classes and within personal spaces across the world. For leisure and in professional trade, people are actively improving their lives with meditations.

The capability of our brains to enter a meditative state is an extraordinary act; I still get goosebumps when I feel like I am going into a trance. It is like you are entering a black hole where you consciously feel yourself leaving your body and realizing the harmony of life that exists below beneath your daily thoughts. By simply following this routine, brainwave patterns fluctuate and alter their frequency, and this is where lasting change can occur.

Think of it this way, your a bubble that can change shapes, forms, even colours, and directions.

How meditation benefits can change your life

Starting a course on meditation for beginners can be daunting at first. However, the resulting benefits can be life changing, especially if you do make this apart of your daily routine. I feel empowered every day I come out of meditation, I can describe it as an ‘evergreen freedom feeling’, and you will feel it too.

Benefits you can feel from continuous practice are:

Meditation for sleep encourages peaceful shut-eye.

Stress reduction for work and play

The mental focus in study and work

Compassionate to yourself and others

Clarity of thoughts

Gratitude for your blessings today instead of the bad ones

Vision for your future

Improvements for health include lower blood pressure, anxiety, and depression.

Harnessing a healthy lifestyle should be a priority to everyone, and that is where meditation benefits can assist us in our bodies, not just our thoughts.

These can include internal improvements such as longevity in heart conditions, diagnosed issues, and even a reduced heart rate if your focusing abilities are ‘top-notch’.

How you can start mediation’s for beginners today

To start with meditation as a beginner, you need no prior experience; you require your own quiet space without any interruptions. I prefer meditation for sleep, so I do it before bed, and I can hit my pillow with a beaming smile.

You should allow at least 15 minutes of quiet time, preferably alone.

Position yourself cross-legged, or you can lay down (careful not to fall asleep).

Now close your eyes.

Focus your mind on your breath and the rise and fall as it travels inside you.

You will notice your whole body feeling lighter, relaxed, and starting to free from tension.

Now imagine the cooling sense of your breath entering every part of your body from head to toe, every cell, every body part until they reach your breathe.

Intensely focus and see your entire body reaching this deeper level of contentment.

Now continue this focus for up to 15 minutes as you intensely focus on the specific parts of your body, seal that contentment and take it with you.

Breathe in and out once more, and open your eyes.

In summary how meditation benefits can change your life

To achieve the best, you have to be your best everyday and conquer our mind for success, goals, and freedom instead of being a hermit such like a ‘turtle in a shell’ that never moves anywhere, to take action we have to make that first step to what to change. Meditation has changed the world in its superior force on the planet through its most straightforward technique that anyone can act in their lives.

The list is endless of possibilities of improvement, some I have listed, but the list is substantial. It can encourage you to act, think and adapt to life in a completely new direction through these empowering connections.
