1. Exercise regularly - If you want to lose body weight, then you have to start exercising at least 4 times per week. As soon as possible, start walking daily for 30 minutes. 7. Add protein in your meal - Protein contains high-quality fats that help you burn calories faster than other types of fats.
8. Keep away from fatty foods - Fats increase your hunger levels. Avoid eating any type of fatty foods. Instead of having food items rich in fats, opt for low-fat options like nuts, seeds, beans, chicken etc.
9. Have green leafy vegetables - Green leafy vegetables help lower cholesterol levels and prevent heart ailments. They are filled with vitamins A, C, E and K. Include them in your lunch box.
10. Eat more fiber - Fiber keeps our stomachs clean and helps us to eliminate toxins from the digestive system. Therefore, consume more fiber-rich foods like oats, barley, brown rice, chia seeds, apples, carrots, legumes and lentils.
11. Take supplements - There are certain supplements that help you in losing weight fast. These include chromium, niacin, flaxseed oil, probiotics, L-carnitine, vitamin D and zinc.
12. Get enough sleep - Sleeping is very important for keeping our body fit and healthy. Lack of sleep causes stress due to tiredness.
13. Avoid alcohol - Alcohol is harmful to the liver. It makes our liver sluggish and affects its function. Also, consuming alcohol along with spicy foods worsens digestion problems.
14. Give your mind some rest - Our brain is the control center of our body. It decides whether we should work or play. 15. Eat less food - This may seem obvious, but if you eat more than you need, you'll gain weight. If you're eating more calories than you burn off, you'll gain weight even if you exercise regularly. To lose weight, you have to reduce how many calories you consume each day. You don't have to cut out entire foods groups; just focus on reducing the amount of calories you take in.
16. Drink water - Drinking enough fluids will help keep you feeling full between meals and prevent you from overeating. Water helps fill you up without adding extra calories. Try drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily.
17. Cut back on sugar - Sugar is empty calories that add little nutritional value to your diet. Consuming excess amounts of added sugar can lead to obesity, tooth decay, and heart disease. Limit your intake of sugary beverages, including soda, fruit juice, sports drinks, and sweetened tea. Instead, drink unsweetened coffee or tea, or use artificial sweeteners such as stevia.
18. Exercise regularly - Exercising burns calories and increases your metabolic rate, helping you to shed pounds faster. Aim for at least 30 minutes per day of moderate activity. Examples of moderate activities include brisk walking, vacuuming, or gardening.
19. Avoid processed foods - Processed foods contain ingredients that aren't good for your body. These include refined grains like white bread, pasta, and crackers, as well as highly processed meats like hot dogs, bacon, sausage, ham, and deli meat. Stick to whole grains instead, like brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa, barley, wheat berries, and 100% whole grain bread.
20. Read labels - Read the nutrition facts label before buying packaged foods. Make sure to choose products that have fewer than 10 grams of fat or saturated fats, no trans fat, and low sodium levels. Look for foods that have lots of fruits and vegetables, legumes, lean protein, and fiber.
21. Get plenty of sleep - Getting adequate restful sleep goes hand in hand with maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
