Yup! You read that right. Not just me, most of my girl gang is immune to corona now. I love this feeling!

The process was nothing like

• You register yourself

• You go to the vaccination centre.

• get a call after waiting for a while.

• They inject that vaccine, you were craving for the longest time.

• BOOM! VACCINATED!

It was nothing like they showed in the news. It was beyond imagination. Just like a dream!

The stars were twinkling in the sky and we(me and my girl gang) could see them. As we were on an astronomically large ground. Where cool grass kissed our feet. The whole area was glowing by huge bulbs glittering all over the place.

As for us, we were all dressed up in our best gowns, with matching accessories and the most flattering makeup. We looked like the best version of ourselves. Strangely enough, none of us was wearing masks. And as far as my memory goes, we didn’t take any selfies either. Weird!

I was chitchatting about my favourite movie stars with my friends. This was when the host announced in a generous tone, “The vaccine has arrived, we’ll start the vaccination soon. Please form a line according to your age in descending order.”

The way to the vaccine was what amazed me the most! We had to walk through a red carpet to reach the vaccine. A ramp walk! A lot of people cheered and hooted on either side of the carpet as you strolled to your destiny. That made you flush. That was the most thrilling experience I’ve ever had!

On the other end, posed our very own vaccine on a shimmery surface with three men standing around it. At the left side of the vaccine, stood a doctor with a syringe in hand.

Another doctor, with cotton balls in his hand, was facing the first one. The last man stood between both of them with a smile on his face. He wasn’t smiling all the time, only when he saw someone approaching him. ( I felt an urge to explain, so.)

We were some of the last people to get vaccinated. As there were elders getting their shots. After reaching the stop, I was welcomed by the cutest smile in the universe.

Then, I was asked for my hand, the medic rubbed that cotton ball on a nerve, shot the injection, gave me another cotton ball to hold the point of injection. Honestly, I didn’t feel pretty much anything. Maybe because I was dazed by that smile or maybe the doctor was a skilled one so it didn’t hurt!

After saying goodbye to the doctors including my latest crush, we landed back on the red carpet. The hooters and cheerers were gone by now. But the waiters were still waiting for us. Each of them holding a tray.

What did they have in those trays? Fruits? Glasses of juice? Bourn vita mixed milk?

None of that sh!t. They had god knows how many types of beer, cold drinks, wines and other alcoholic beverages. Surprisingly, I wasn’t surprised to see that at all. Some of us did dare to pick up a bottle or two. I didn’t!

“Hey, I heard there’s a cinema hall a few steps away. Let’s watch a movie!”

“That’s a great idea!!”

And we went to watch a film. I don’t remember reaching home until it was dusky. When I finally reached home. My mom shouted “wake up! The sun has arisen a long time ago.”

What a dream that was! hehe, I wish that’s how the vaccination actually happens.
